Ornstein and smaugh are a skill check boss. I noticed several flaw about your build 1) you seem to be heavy rolling (this is a big issue) 2) Your dammage are quite low. You should check on your build cause better dammage mean more success chances 3) You missed a bonfire at the rotating tower it's below the room with the painted world entrance. 4) summon solaire to help you in battle. 5) Your zwei do holy dammage and if i remember they are resistant to that.
Thanks for the tips. As far as armor goes I would have switched to light roll earlier but my viewers on stream told me being heavy actually has really good poise benefits in this game compared to the others in the series so that’s the only reason why I’m suffering rolling around like a lopsided boulder💀
@@JY_TheKai to be honest in that case poise is not really usefull since Smaugh does heavy damage and Ornstein use piercing + lightning so no amount of poise can help except if you got havel armor + wolf ring

I've been playing this game for the first time for 4 months and I'm still stuck on O and S I breezed through elden ring but I can't with these two for the life of me
Anor Londo was originally intended to be accessed through an actual entrance, you would then have to fight your way through the city all the way to the top, similar to Irythill, of course this couldn't be done due to time constraints, from here on you will notice cracks in the design and just straight up unfinished stuff more and more often, some of the unused ideas for the city were seemingly recycled in Elden Ring's Leyndell surprisingly, Anor Londo still holds plenty of secrets, though DS3 spoiled one of them already, for the other, i guess you'll just have to ask the kool kids klub members about it lol the coins you found can be fed to Frampts for a small amount of souls, they also have possibly the most important world building lore descriptions in the entire game series also you might want to check out some of the celestial bodies in the game, specifically looking at the sun or the moon, looking away and looking at it again a couple times

@@JY_TheKai yeah like actually look at the sun and moon, especially in Anor Londo worst part is, when the Remaster came out, none of the unfinished stuff was fixed on release and in fact there were even more unfinished things as in missing textures they did fix the textures by now and even fixed one (1) missing texture from the original release, making the Remaster officially more of a complete version lol
@@JY_TheKai The dude with the iron armor who helps in iron golem fight. Lorewise he died falling down from those platforms in anor londo. Thats why you find his armor below.

I summoned Solaire for the fight and he was focusing Ornstein while I fought Smough, and I was so focused on Smough that I didn’t even realize Solaire was bodying Ornstein until he actually killed him. Solaire is just built different

You can get boss weapons if you have a boss soul and need a +10 weapon to upgrade to the guant blacksmith.
