Synopsis:

The family dynamics for this rich family is too crazy. The only ones rooting for Hae-in and Hyunwoo are Hae-in's father and aunt.
The misplaced trust and assumed loyalty is the family's downfall and what the villains (con artists) have exploited. The easy targets: Grandpa has a huge ego, Baby bro is a cry baby, entitled and deluded. Mom is supersticious, petty, and still mourning.
The villains target Hae-in and Hyunwoo because they can't trick them. They're smart and strong, their only weakness is not being on the same page when they care so much for each other.
Well said, the Hong family's dysfunction is their most weak point. And I do believe that they all care about each other including hae-in, in their heads they believe that nothing bad can happen to her because she is strong, the mother treats soo-cheol like an egg because she doesn't want to lose another son and because of that he is clueless, boneless, naive, brainless 😂 all the less.
Perfect summary every time I watch I’m always shouting at the tv why don’t you trust your own family members.

It's kinda weird that women are offended that hyunwoo wanted compensation for 3 years of sh*t that he went through in the marriage not realising the privilege that these same women have of alimony over men for the same reasons of compensating them for the time and effort they put in the marriage for which in return they didn't get to enjoy a healthy relationship but ended in divorce so if men asking for compensation is wrong then every women who asked for alimony after divorce is also wrong

If it’s already been sorted, you can’t then want to change the circumstances that you entered the marriage in. If a man has a prenup, a woman can’t contest it Without reasonable cause. Soo-cheol is just plain blank. Clueless with no common sense and I somewhat blame the mother for raising him like that.
And I have hope for his wife, if there is someone who will betray the cult members it will be her, I don't know if she loves him but I think she pities him sometimes.

So they had been living separately since she lost the baby. They had a rough patch possibly before, but when she pushed him away and discarded everything from the nursery without consulting him, he had no time to deal with it all, and separated from her, moving into the nursery, as he could not tolerate what she did as he mourns the loss of his child he was so excited about having with her. He could no longer be by her side as she got rid of all the evidence that this life began to exist. Then, when the family kept dictating his life, along with her, he was no longer a husband. They were going to force him to bring a child into a broken, loveless marriage, send him to the United States to improve his international law education, leaving his child with nannies to be raised without him, while expecting him to be a dutiful pawn in their conniving schemes to become the richest most important conglomeration in the land and world of business, which was the last straw for him. He could not bring a child into the world without love in his marriage and love for his child while living with them to raise the kid.
