Thanks Rob, this was just before it started raining. I was froze further down the Lauteret but better than the furnace of last year. Did you enjoy the event ?
yeah heard it was bad earlier but once we got to the lauteret warmed up and then nice ride up to the top of the Alpe ! Took me just over 11hrs so pleased with that and finishing, the heat would have killed me . Last year was out there a week earlier so know what you went through, this year was perfect really.
+Ian Rob it was perfect conditions really. I was about 9 and a half hours. I'm hoping to do Liege Bastogne Liege in the spring then hopefully the Trophee de l'Oisans in July. Can't stay away as the lure of the Marmotte annual trip always seems too strong

I think next year I may do the Dragon Devil then a month later the Trophee D'Oisans, mad !!!
