@Gary Higginson Surely did, loads of rehearsals, someone messing-up right at the end etc. True, a weird, urban myth!; but, Badgers can make you go blind by walking behind you...that's 100% true.
HOLY COW... I learned something, i NEVER knew Faulty Towers was only ever 12 episodes for such a legendary tv show!!! I looked it up, 2 seasons @ 6 episodes each. ... Who says comedy isn't educational! 🤓
There's also only 12 episodes of Young Ones... 6-8 episodes a series was the standard for quite a while in British comedy, obviously it quickly adds up if a show runs for a long time (Only Fools & Horses) or gets cancelled and returns (Red Dwarf) but Blackadder and Bottom only have 24 and 18 episodes respectively
Fawlty Towers did a lot in just 12 episodes. Each one dense, hilarious, memorable. Compare vs 12 episodes of popular sitcoms like Friends, Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld. There's always a few standout episodes, situations, etc ... but all the rest are forgettable and not very funny.
The sketch I think that it is a personification of the sum of your learning after half an hour's randomised internet surfing. If you think of the people as earnest fact giving websites, oneself as the fact receiving centre of everything, and the randomness as some of the things you might come across whilst on the train/during a tea break/on hold etc - it works.

This is brilliantly choreographed, bet they're all rushing between rooms getting ready to pop-out!

Police Squad only had six episodes, but they got 3 movies out of it.
The best thing about the Stuart Pearce one is that it's true.
He used to advertise his services in the Forest programmes - how amazing is that?
Lets make one of the clips much LOUDER than the rest.
You said that right as it started
Thanks for the warning
Poor Declan :(
Yeah, but he keeps employing him though....
the useless bugger!
Justice for Declan.
Fun fact, before Declan worked here, he was in Archer and was called Scott.
you had one job Declan...one job

Aren't almost all of these actually true?
No. Horses fucking love jazz. That's why he's so short with Declan
@@jeanpaulsinatra that’s the exception
Dammit Declan, can't you do anything right?
I liked Armstrong falling in the big deep hole bit.
So funny
Honestly, Declan. Stop trying to make fetch happen.
Were they making fun of The West Wing? That entire show is just people telling the President stuff while walking fast.

It's def the West Wing. Right down to the way he puts on his coat.
Declan just can't catch a break
It is a shame all the information skits aren't on here. Declan finally catches a break on the last one.
I ended up feeling sorry for Declan, probably not what was intended
I use all of his lines directed at Declan on everyone I want to shut up
we're all originally from Africa 👍
Is that true about cats?

Cart blame hip hop for gun culture. That’s false information!
I don't see the point of these sketches. Vast majority of Armstrong and Miller's stuff is funny and clever but this is just meh.
Not now, Declan!
Its a pisstake on all those movies with some guy being given info as they stride into where ever they work.
@@sugarnads I kind of gleaned that at some point but it's still not very funny to me. But thanks for explaining it to me.
