6:50 is pure firework! I've heard this coda over 1.000 times and it's still absolutely fantastic

Fantastically understated interpretation. Everybody goes for the fireworks in the Coda and the c# minor section, and this dude just laid back and let the music shine, and all its detail. Refreshing and original.

He understands Chopin. His body language is a bit excessive, but it is wrought with a genuine love of Chopin and the piano itself. Authentic interpretation; hard to find fault with any of it. Holding onto the last notes a bit longer would improve - leaving a more indelible impression and adding some resoluteness to an otherwise excellent performance.

      haha true
Although I would say it's really Chopin likes a-flat (and f minor).

Some wrong notes intruded between passagework and sometimes it sounds a bit robust to me, but his interpretation is quite innovative and I like it in general❤

It is definitely not "static". If you would know anything about Chopin's own playing and teaching, you would understand that this is exactly the kind of interpretation Chopin would approve of.

This is my most disliked interpretation of this ballade. Where are the fire and explosives??
