Followed your pattern with slightly different measurements 11 inches by 8 inches and it turned out great. I also used a lightweight fusable fleece on the outer fabric. This is the best pattern by far. Thank you so much for your time and expertise and for sharing the pattern.
Genius pattern, thank you for your time and expertise. Made one tonight and used quilting cotton with interfacing on both outer and lining, turned out beautifully. So pleased with the result, I will be making more of these.

I can colour code bags for makeup , toiletry, treats, etc. I need to get rid of plastics and ziplock bags. I would make some with easy wipe down material for lining. I love how much easier this style than the standard pouch. I have about 20 of the standard style precut and lining too in various sizes. Can I assume the ratio of the corner square cut outs will work for other sizes with adjustment of the square cut out? Thanks for the excellent tutorial!
For the ratio of corner square cuts to use with other sizes. The square cut of the zippered corners remains the same, 2 cm x 2 cm. and If you want the bottom of the bag to be 14 cm deep, you should cut a square size of 7 x 7 cm, etc. The length and height of the bag can be adjusted as needed.
Measurements are shown both in cm and inches. Use whatever type of measurement you are familiar with. Centimeters are listed first. Inches are in parentheses.
The 12oz canvas is not too thick for this bag pattern. If using a thinner fabric, the bag will not form and need to use fusible interfacing insert into the fabric.

This bag does not use interfacing. But the fabric is thicker than normal fabric.

La fermeture éclair que j'utilise est une fermeture éclair en plastique. Il peut être cousu à la machine à coudre.
