TN Krishnan's rendition was pretty average in this. Plus, off-late the reason I have started to appreciate N. Chandrasekharan's bowing because he never interrupted while the main artiste was doing kalpanAswaram. Why do you want to meddle with the kalpanAswaram of the vocalist when you are given a chance to follow afterward? This problem, TNK, MSG, LALGUDI all had, but Chandrashekharan, I haven't heard him interrupt. Maybe I'm wrong, somebody can correct me.....and I'm saying this eventhough my favorite is MSG.
who can sing Abhohi & Sriranjani better than Semangudi. But the living legends TNK & Sivaraman still maintain the same standard @85+. A year back I was fortunate to attend a solo concert by TNK which reminded me of Madurai Mani Iyer whom he accompanied maximum concerts took me back to 1960S when I never missed his concert in Chennai.
Excellent, but the style of singing is dated, from the current view point. Meandering rather than crisp presentation. Neraval and kalpanaswara are good.
Great Great beautiful voice
Thanks so much for sharing this video.

Thanks for sharing.
Eaxelanat 🙏
🙏
i just heard the master slip and sing NI at 11:05 to 11:10
That is acceptable at the age of 85. He doesn't have to prove anyone
@@Audiovisual00 no liberties just owing to age .....slip is slip.....yes he need not sing at 85
@@sarang8833 Ok you sing and we will see how many slips are there. You slip even once, we will shred you in review.

This year was an epic one. Even at 90 TNK is going strong, hopefully we'll also see his 100th.
Beautiful rendering of Abogi by the great master. Nice accompaniments by T.N.Krishnan and Umayalpuram Sivaraman.
