    Rochka cooked him easy on this one.
    Paradox was more technical, doe his groove was on point and he was still as sharp as ever, but he was really missing the real vibe of both songs.
    Rochka was in his bag, his energy/character/attitude really captured both songs and he really felt both songs more you can just see his passion.

      That's why I love seeing some people exchange. It's not limited to just who's the best dancer type of vibe. I've been realizing that more and more. No love lost on paradox end tho cause he has all of what we talking about

    Love them both but Rochka really nails the emotion/feeling for me, like full intensity - I can only feel it thru the video I’m guessing the intensity in the room is next level?

    I saw on Paradox’s insta that he still hadn’t fully recovered from his injury at this time... so that might’ve been it

    • @metalspalace
      @metalspalace  4 года назад +9

      Arkeyys I talked to him a little bit. He was for sure dealing with injury and I don’t even think he was going to compete that year. He did kill it in the battle previous to this one so it could’ve just been the round in general

      @@metalspalace Its not just the dancing either, its his character, and the way he breaks down the art of dancing to a SPIRITUAL LEVEL, that's levels not many dancer even get to lol

    I Liked paradox flow/groove better on the 2nd round, but Rochka definitely ate him the 1st round. I scored it 1-1, but if I was forced to choose then Rochka won.

    Yes for vocals/lyrics advices 👌🏾

      It's not emphasized enough to me man and I barely tapped in to explaining stuff even tho I was messing around haha

    • @Bradyvic
      @Bradyvic 4 года назад +2

      But it was clear enough for me. Like I saw people dancing on RnB, Soul, Jazz music. Technically, they great but it just doesn’t feel right on the music. Vocals can be so dominant in the music so you can’t ignore them. And I think, It’s because some dancers are used to dance to popping beats, instrumentals (you know the kind) so they focused on the 2s-4s, because it’s easy the basics. If you don’t know the song and there’s a rapper/singer on it. It can be hard to follow what the artist will do. That’s where intuition, being good at recognizing the patterns quickly come into play

    I'm definitely not knocking anyone for performing their art. I just gotta say I can't look at any dancer the same after watching the Les Twins. They are the 🐐's of dance.

    Thanks for the advice at the end, I just want to know your thoughts on these : socks and shades. Is it tolerated in using either of those things when dancing or is it cheating in someway ? The question does not apply to Paradox of course, because he's injured, but in general, what impression does it give ?

    • @metalspalace
      @metalspalace  4 года назад +4

      shades? like wearing shades? Idc. It's not about to make their dance better, more confident maybe, but it doesn't phase me. I only thought of someone dancing without shoes to be "weird" as in that's not common for me especially within popping. I train without shoes but, that's only because of my floor. Shoes with certain floors that are not smooth make it very difficult for me to maneuver which really limits my movement because I feel the resistance when wearing shoes. I still have never battled or danced publicly with no shoes but so I need to get back to dancing with shoes on again

    • @snagc4b427
      @snagc4b427 4 года назад +1

      Gotcha, do you think practicing your glides with socks on is a good exercise that would translate itself easily when you try them with shoes on ? I always tell myself it's good muscle memory.
