Bro i ain’t really seen nobody talk about this innit but i need to get it off my chest cos it’s been kinda bugging me to be honest. During lanceys set we opened up a massive moshpit near the front, people were doing backflips in the middle of it.
a kid that looked about 18 tried to do a run up type backflip and slipped at the last moment on the wet grass, as soon as he hit the ground for a second we kinda laughed it off not knowing it was serious but after about 5 seconds he didn’t get up then i walked closer to him and he said he couldn’t move, i think he may have done something to his spinal cord. he stayed like that for about half an hour, Unable to move,only talk. Nobody touched him to ensure we didn’t make it worse.
That’s the reason i think lanceys set stopped early innit, the guy needed medical attention, he didn’t get moved until around midway through JMEs set.
I just hope bro is alright man, I’ve been thinking about it a lot even praying for the kid. i just hope he’s okay but i don’t know it looked very serious, truly the stuff of nightmares. We tried to stop people from filming it. Bro couldn’t move
i couldn’t really enjoy the festival after seeing that, poor kid.
