I think there's going to be an international convention to investigate the possibility of putting these silos onto the endangered species list. All across the world, silos are being hunted to extinction.
Everybody knows that guns were invented in 1849 by John Gun specifically for toppling silos from a safe distance. This man is just using it for it's intended purpose.
When I was a kid our church bought a farm & remodeled the barn into a chapel. They wrapped a rope? Cable? around the top of the silo & connected the end to a truck & simply pulled the silo over. !
This reminds me of Merrill Barracks in Nuremburg, Germany. You could still see the bullet holes around windows where there must have been a sniper. But those Germans built some sturdy stuff for their Troops.
the 3 steel-bands around the bottom hold that masonry in perfect alignment, the only way to break cylinders is to deform its straight-sided alignment; so instead of attacking the masonry, they could have a metal-grinder cut through the shackles, then loop a chain around the back to a truck and give it some tension in 1st gear, the chain will cinch unevenly and cut through like a cheese wire
I don't know why more people don't fell dilapidated silos this way. I don't see any downsides to this (provided everyone's in a good position to avoid ricochets).
I would just assume that shotgun slugs (which I presume he's using) wouldn't be enough to bring down the silo. Like, you'd need to shoot it thousands of times or the brick and mortar would be too strong. Clearly that's not the case.
The way the silo gracefully collapsed in a single direction seemed so considerate, so polite.
It's that rural upbringing, I think.
you`d think it's a canadian silo
BAHAHAHAHA
It certainly didn't go on about its rights ...
@@GermanicFoodcan confirm. The inner-city silos are rude a fuck.
The old silo plans to live on as an astronomical observatory.
Indeed, it appears so… good call!
Witty!
I was thinking the same thing.😄😄😄👍
Hahaha! Top comment!!
This is actually done sometimes for those with the interest and means.
Silos are easy to hunt, because silos do not run very fast.
They do the unexpected and rely on the element of surprise.
@@peterg76yt them sneaky silos
They also tend to lack high quality cano so they’re easy to spot
@@mike_dodane they try to disguise as silos, which is quite a bad idea, when someone is after silos. Silly silos.
And they don't shoot back.
Even at the current price of ammo it's cheaper than hiring a demo company, and way more fun.
Ammo’s nearly at pre-COVID prices, most kinds anyway. Been that way a couple years.
It's like maybe $50 vs $3 or 4k.
Yeah, doesn't seem like it took very many shots either
That looks a hell of a lot safer than "let the hydraulic jack down and run"
Our silo hunt was finally over and a success 😎
How did the wall Mount Look?? 😂😂
Like a lego astronomy observatory.
How do you cook it, now it's been killed?
Guns don't kill silos. People kill silos.

You might never again 😅
