When you really think of it, the R/S/E games introduced E4 battle music that is actually different from the Gym Leader battle theme. That's why Hoenn is my favorite region and why this E4 music is my favorite Pokemon music, as well as its absolute epicness even if you put it in 3-bit Gen I games!
If they did that I'd be quite disappointed, I'd rather see the mega evolutions the first time on my own pokemon. It's such a tease to see a pokemon become mega, but you have no way of obtaining that yet. I do think that at least the aqua and magma leaders and the champion have a mega evolution.

Just to add to the fire >:D I say that Pokemon gives you something to really look forward to. It pretty much teaches kids that you should care for your pets and create bonds with them. It also teaches them to persevere and always reach for the stars

Awesome remix. I must say that in ORAS the Elite four were easy if you're between 50-55 ( with a some what fair team) Soulsilver was harder imo. Fucking Lance.

oh, definitely. It obviously hasn't been announced yet, but everyone knows it's coming. Seeing as x&y are coming out this october, the r&S remakes are probably coming out early next year, around summer, or october as well. (or maybe another spin-off game). but they will remake r&s for sure.
@TmRocket4tw I didn't realize until reading your comment, but I think the reason I like the 2nd generation so much could be because I played it before and after some difficult transitions in my life. Playing the handheld version likely reminded me of a time prior to the changes when I played the emulated ROM (I played it entirely in Japanese and learned quite a bit of kana!). I was probably comforted by playing the handheld copy after the changes. The first version that I played was Red, though.
@Shikamaru00009 well actually i used water typed too and it was soo much fun. i used Qwilfish, Dewgong, Kingdra, Slowking, Lantern, and Gorebyss. of course, slowking knew flame thrower so that was helpful lol

Most of the music in B/W was based on the last two generations. The elite four music was clearly a combination of the two. Of course though, a remake of Hoenn would be amazing and is definitely in the near future. I have high hope for this remake!

I always thought a great challenge before the Elite four would be to fight all 8 Gym Leaders again but with more powerful pokemon.
