brilliant presentation but i as a non-tech guy how can I manage my line of work were we use lots of pumps in my oil fields? and how may I detect the failure of the pumps on multiple locations? can we use iot sensors I mean what is the difference?
Thank you for watching the video. In the presentation, Russell addressed the process of taking data saved from the field and producing a fault detection algorithm. The source of this data is not necessarily streaming. However, IOT would certainly be an option. After your predictive maintenance models have been constructed, you similarly have options for how to deploy the solution. You could stream data from IOT sensors to a central compute resource for processing or deploy the algorithms to some embedded hardware on the pumps, for two examples. Where could I download the raw data shown in the presentation?
I also want the data
What is a good balance between "healthy" and "faulty" data? 50-50%?
I wish you guys included a link to the raw data so that we can actually practice and follow your demo...Thank you
You can find the data if you check out Predictive Maintenance examples: bit.ly/PdM-Examples
@@MATLAB thank you.

Great presentation!
Thanks!
