Thank you so much for uploading these older game shows I appreciate it so much I used to watch these with my grandma when I was a kid and then my Grandpa would let me stay up late and watch Johnny Carson even if I had school the next day so I grew up on these older game shows. THANK YOU SO MUCH..... 🙏👍🤘
This episode really made my day. Thank you for uploading it. I appreciate it.
Rest in ☮️ Jim Perry.
Thanks for this.
It was the same Miriam who appeared on Press Your Luck in the 20th episode. And I would like to add to this: she's is one of my favorite contestant on Press Your Luck Luck who pass the spin to Warren and ended with the double $0 tie.
+AARON BAKER I just saw that episode of PYL on Buzzr with Miriam. 5 years older but still really pretty :) She was a really good game show contestant.
And on the Second Show, Warren pass his last spin to Miriam and gave away the game. He was only down by $1,600.
Wonder where she's at now??
A big OOPS 😬 on Elaine at 3:32 when a double ace shows up!
Have a Ball, Have some FUN;
Call the cards right, and win a TON!!!
Aces are fantastic, so is the 2;
But if they come in pairs you are through!
Not bad!
opening: EPIC!!
Call the Cards and do it with Pleasure;
If they fall right, you can win a Big Treasure!
Hey folks, there have been a few contestants on Card Sharks who later appeared on Press Your Luck including Miriam.
Elaine is so cute!!
2:05 here comes g2t2
Goodson Todman.
He didn't know the answer how many women said they wear false teeth, it's written on the card he was reading from
Holy moly I was 7 years old then.
Great times.
Its too bad that Card Sharks didn't have that rule where you win a $500 Cash Bonus for hitting the question right on the nose
Not to mention, they didn't have the "Run the Board" Rule, that's the reason why Card Sharks was SO Exciting back in 1981
i couldn't believe she hit is exactly twice
Teen Beach Movie 🏖
Yes, Elaine should have won that $500 TWICE! Also, I'm surprised at the questions with low totals (1-9) -- usually the only low ones were when they asked the 10 people in the audience (during Bob Eubanks' tenure).
There's a reason why GSN didn't air this episode, well I know it did in 1998.
You mean, "I work with mentally retarded kids?"
Why what happened. LoL
Guess I'll just have to watch it and find out. Right at this moment I'm watching an episode of The Ultimate Fighter.
10:00, 12:58 Long before the $500 bonus was instituted (during the Eubanks/Rafferty era).
The pace seems to be very slow compared to later Jim Perry and the Bob Eubanks episodes. I wonder when the producers of Card Sharks decided that viewers know the rules enough to rev it up.
as the show evolved, was there ever a cash bonus for guessing the number exactly like Elaine did?
@0:13 how did they change from the pilot boards so fast.
hard to enjoy when the game doesn't finish, can't always find the followup
Whoa, back when you could say the R word without having to sit through 30 ads on youtube about it after with people telling you you're a horrible person for saying a word they didn't know you said.
Purple Monkey Dishwasher Software Gaming Back then, it was acceptable because the word “retarded” originally means slow. But people started misusing it to mean “dumb”.
The “R” word? It’s not a curse word y’know. Like Ryan said, it’s supposed to have a different meaning. I hate it when people try to turn “retard” or “retarded” into a curse word. It’s anything but and not many people use it in a derogatory manner. If anything, making it out to be a curse word makes it more enticing for bullies and jerks to use.
Thanks
How old is Miriam now??
3:33 oh its another ace
I was really disappointed when the newspapers didn't have the story about Jim's death in 2015.I had to get it from The Hollywood Reporter of all publications.
3:34 Double...i would've said "Sorry...Hate when that happens". 😔
To quote the late Bruce Forsyth; "You Get Nothing for a Pair... (Audience) NOT IN THIS GAME!!"
Men scare of birth control pills
These broads didnt play the game too logically
