      They are not leaders but Rulers because leaders do not act the way they are acting. Example of a leader is Peter Obi who cares about the poor people who mean well for the people and the country as a whole that is who you call a leader.

    The problem of Nigeria 🇳🇬 is tribalistic Yorubas and Housas because they always protest bad leadership when it's not their person(s) while Igbos condemn every bad government even if it's their family members

    Keep wondering why Nigeria is called giant of Africa, yet other African countries are showing us how things are done.
    When a celebrity refuses to help a Nigerian you see how quick people are in condemning him/her but yet they can't use that same energy to fight the government. We must fight for freedom, we must fight for change.

    Nigerian situation is like Sri Lanka two years ago. Food and fuel prices skyrocketed, but no protests -- just talk talk talk. Then suddenly things reached the boiling point on July 12, 2022. The youth marched straight to the presidential mansion but the president fled to Maldives. His government was no more. Nigeria's boiling point will come. And probably Tinibu may have to flee in his new jet !!!

  • @idowum
    @idowum Месяц назад +6

    What have we become as a nation? Why are we allowing the legacies of our founding fathers to crumble away for selfish reasons? Our current leaders are insensitive to the cries and pains of our people. The government no longer represents the interests and aspirations of Nigerian citizens. Our national and state legislatures are desensitized and detached from the people they serve. No nation can attain its full potential and development without visionary leaders who are dedicated and committed to the aspirations of its citizens. It is heartbreaking that my nation, Nigeria, has been so unfortunate since gaining independence on October 1, 1960. Visionary leaders like Dr. Namidi Zikuwa Aminu, Kanu, and Obafemi Awolowo worked tirelessly to propel the country towards progress, but sadly, their passing marked the decline of Nigeria's fortunes. Their legacies and contributions to the country's growth and development remain unmatched. I pray daily for a better Nigeria, hoping for a resurgence of visionary leadership that will propel the country towards achieving its full potential. We are indeed in a mess, and it requires a collective effort to salvage our beloved nation.

Take for example where is pastors adeboye? his is nowhere to b found cos cos his brother a Yoruba man is incharge then, u can imagine, if a socalled big gospel man can act in this way then what of an ordinary yoruba man in the street?

    The north has succeeded in making the political parity purely a binary choice- North or South. Unfortunately Nigeria is not binary it is multifactorial in nature. It is this very aspect that has succeeded in making Nigeria apathetic and complacent, because the very nature of the political strata that should create change and progress instead creates stagnation, anger and frustration in the people. To change this, first and foremost, the idea or concept of quota or zoning must be removed from the national psyche, so that meritocracy can take root.
