Kali River Rapids - Perfect Ride on a Hot Day!

Kali River Rapids is the best way to cool off during those hot summer days at Disney's Animal Kingdom! We rode it mid-afternoon on a 91 degrees Fahrenheit day with high humidity and I welcomed getting drenched with the cool water from the rapids. I don’t know which was more fun, the drops or my son’s reactions to them!

Kali River Rapids is a thrilling whitewater raft ride located in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The ride simulates a rafting expedition along the Chakranadi River, where you’ll encounter lush jungle scenery and the effects of illegal logging.
The ride features a 20-foot drop and various rapids, ensuring that you will get wet-sometimes very wet! Each raft seats up to 12 guests, and the entire experience lasts about 4.5 minutes. The attraction emphasizes Disney’s commitment to conservation and environmental protection.
