This video is full of lies and bs. Anyone who knows VU history will spot the inaccuracies, but the worst sin is the implication that Reed made decisions in the search for commercial success. Geez, he went back to live with his parents and worked as a typist! Does that sound like someone looking for chart hits to you?!

Lou was weary of the way Steve Sesnick managed the band and that is the reason why he left. He probably thought he’d quite the music industry for good at that point in time. Doug has been blamed for the VU last album Squeeze, but Sesnick is the one, who hoodwinked him into doing that album. It is not Doug’s fault.

That goes with the territory and is more likely to introduce noobs to the Velvets who might not otherwise watch. The Velvets music opens minds and not just ancient boomers like self. I heard she wasn't very nice. I believe the fairies part. Heroin makes some people see fairies, anyway.

The untold truth? With these guys it pick a truth, any truth. Seriously, does anyone even know who they are? My guess is they will be forgotten in about 10 years. So long Velvet Underground. We never knew you

Check out John Cale's depiction in Songs they never play on the radio- once he becomes a health freak, it's jokes.

Erik Satie has fuck all to do with influencing The Velvet Underground.
You should have mentioned LaMonte Young or Terry Riley instead.
And Phil Soector wasn't a musician.

So where is the untold part of the story? Any VU fan knows all these facts anyway and White Heat/White Light is a joke! It's the other way round! And please pronounce Nico's real name properly! Do your research before you start making videos on the VU. If I were you I would start again with the correct facts. This is a bit of an insult to the great Lou, Nico and Andy. It would be interesting to know what John Cale and Moe Tucker thought of this rubbish.
