Loved everything about it!! The pacing, our good, gentle humor, the easy-to-follow steps, how it sounds at the end -- plus the history at the end, if you choose to listen to more. Can't wait to see more!

Lovely. Love it. This tutorial gives me more confidence in picking up my ukulele. I bought one years ago because it looked so cute. Now that I have a cute teacher, time to put more cuteness in my strumming & fingerpicking. Thank you very much for the step by step tutorial and the clear explanations.

A super song and fun to play. Gives a great sense of accomplishment to play it all. My sentimental journey is to Brazil to swim in the sea. That's where I am now. A big thank you, Lisa.

This was one of your best lessons! You broke everyone down, explained it clearly and gave us repetition so we could get a handle on it. The simple downstrums plus the more complicated embellishments were a welcome challenge and made me feel I could go beyond "mundane" boring playing. It takes work but you really inspired me here! Send me some fish from Alaska, will you, after your've gutted it! hee hee

I enjoyed this. It would be good to have on screen location of chords I remember basics like A E G F but not new chords I dont yet know. I liked your explaination of strumming too, that was useful. I struggle with strumming. If you work with women domestic abuse, great idea, but lots have PTSD which means impaired concentration and memory. So if you had on screen location of fret finger for chords needed that would really help. I was doing AAAA but then couldnt do the other notes. But.... I did some chords I hadnt done today, thank you. Great lesson.

It takes me about 20 hours to produce a video - creating the chord chart, all the video graphics, filming, editing, getting the time stamps put in, etc. There are also expenses and equipment involved in the production of these videos. As a small channel, I don't even make $2 a day from RUclips advertising. It is my patrons that keep this channel going. Come join us.
