- I am pumping out these reroots like hotcakes and Neon Frights Draculaura is the next ghoul to get a fresh head of hair!
Needless to say I am obsessed with rerooting my dolls with polypropylene hair. It gives them a fresh look and makes me appreciate their design so much more.
Should I have to resort to rerooting dolls to enjoy them? No! But I’m rolling with the punches here ok, all while unlocking a new aspect of this doll hobby that makes me happy.
My Neon Frights Drac also had an error, and it’s one that I was happy with thankfully!

Am I the only one who loves her face? The purple lips and pop of yellow eyeliner is a total vibe.
I won't buy her for full price because her outfits are horrendous but if she goes on sale I'm definitely keeping the base doll and repurposing her pieces 🤭

Honestly I never understood the criticism this is one of my favorite Draculaura’s. But I am biased. I have EVERY SINGLE G3 Draculaura and love them all…even the Monster Fest food truck ghoulie.
The pop of yellow does make a huge difference but for this series I want the characters that aren’t core dolls such as toreali, Twyla and ghoulia

I just got my first MH dolls ever! (i wasn't allowed them as a kid LOL), I got fearidescent Lagoona and Draculaura and i love them so much. one day i wanna get into rerooting and maybe even repaints/ooak but i dont want to risk messing up on my first girlies so i'll stick to washing and styling the poly hair for now 😗
Those two are some of my faves, that’s awesome! And yeah it took me a while to get into rerooting, it’s def a good idea to start off with washing and styling
The streaks of really really tied the look together.

I think the purple lips work, because there was a yellow eye shadow in her face. Purple and violet contrast by the yellow color.
Also Mattel can do amazing patterns in clothing, but that skirt was painful in the eyes. I want to burn it so bad, but didn't and just hid it in the locker never to see the light of day.

That’s how I felt initially but something happened and I kinda like the skirt now. It’s one of those ‘it’s so bad that it’s good’ kind of thing lol

Thanks!! For the budget Dracs bangs they actually have some slight product in them already so I don’t wash that out, I just take some water and slightly wet them, reshape them with my finger and a comb, let them dry and voila!

So if you ever decide to buy another doll that you want to duplicate of you can sell the coffin part. Because a lot of people probably want to customize them and they don't want to buy another doll. Edit... I forgot to say how much I appreciate you going into detail showing us how to reroute. I love the video being a bit longer and actually seeing the steps you take. I'm about to start rerooting and I am more confident and anxious after watching you because I really want to get started. But the patterns you do are beautiful and that scares me a little. Thanks! It’s saran, but I have used nylon in the past before. I think I prefer saran overall but nylon is nice too
