Why on God's green Earth is it the responsibility of the Democrats??? The Republicans made this mess. Isn't that like whining about losing a game, and then blaming the winning side for not throwing the game???
Because the Republican party is the party of other people's responsibility for Republicans shortsighted and power-hungry actions.

Of course Democrats should OPPOSE Speaker Johnson’s ousting, one should never be ousted from a job simply for doing it. Further sanctions on Iran exporting oil is ludicrous and counter-intuitive. Iran has long built in sanction-resistance to its economy hence the regime is entirely unaffected, and has powered towards enriching uranium up to 60% purity whilst being sanctioned. The only people who will suffer are the innocent Iranian people; incidentally, one of the most educated societies in the world with a history going back over several millennia. Iran mainly exports to Russia and China who do not impose sanctions on Iran; it will also be difficult to get the global south to comply with further sanctions and hurt their economies.
China and Russia do not use the American banking systems so are unaffected; however, further sanctions on Iranian oil and petrol exports will affect the world oil price, raise inflation and hurt ordinary American people by massive inflation hikes again. Mr. Biden must not impose further sanctions on Iranian oil and petroleum exports, certainly not in an election year that would be political suicide. The world needs the Democrats to win a majority in both houses.👏🙏
