The album sounds nothing like East 1999 or the old Bizzy. Not saying he sounds bad, he sounds great these days...but just because he calls himself ripsta again doesnt mean it sounds like the old Bone or 1997 ripsta
The rapping is very reminiscent of the older music, the beats not even close. Bone had very unique instrumentals back in the day that set themselves apart from the rest, now it sounds like everything else out there.
621ELECTRONICS i feel even the.vocals arent quite there either personally. Like I said its still good, its just not East 1999 like people are sayibg. You may hear hits of thier old style from time to time but its not the same...just my opinion. And yea the beats are def not there...people dont give Uneek enough credit. I think the beats are half of what made those early albums so dope and classic
@@andy1181-l3m My first Bone tape back in like 96, was a Uneek's remix set, dude was great for sure, I know there was one or two other producers that did some amazing work for them as well, sadly I don’t remember their names to credit them without looking them up. Yeah the rapping is not quite the same, but I look at that as, they are 20-25+ years older and we all change, I’m not the same as I was 20 years ago. I miss their old sound and was hopeful for this new Bizzy album, but disappointed it is mostly generic trap sounding beats, when they use to have very cool instrumentals that fit their style / sound and different than what others were using. Even the early solo albums. I agree, the beats were half of what those albums were, couple that with their amazing vocals and it’s no wonder they had the great success that they did. I wish I could say I love the new Bizzy album, but it just doesn’t grab me. I still love Bone, just not the newer music.
It's like BB went into the archives on this one, that old school ripsta flow, I like songs like self snitching, ybnd, God flow, whole album slaaapin🔥 y'all 💯. Great piece of work, it should be blowing up rit now .
