This game is a joy to walk and jump through. It seems so senseless in its artsy-ness, but with what it conjures up in my heart, I didn't really mind. I love giving this sort of thing a try.
During much of this vid I was happy to just sit back and take in the visuals without saying too much, so I hope that it still translates into an entertaining watch! Do let me know if you'd like the next (and final!) episode to be different if you find this one a bit odd :)

After a couple of months, I’ve finally come around to finish watching this cozy little series.
Part 1 was so relaxing that it put me to sleep, and I suspect part 2 will do it again 😴
I play these on loop every night before I go to sleep. A beautiful artsy relaxing game accompanied with your goofball commentary helps with some peace and laughter before heading off for the night. Gris is a wonderful game, and I hope to see the finale video.
This game is really relaxing for me, I've listened to the videos of you playing on in the background and occasionally I'll look over and admire how pretty it is. When i can I'll definitely give it a go. Can't wait for part 3! 😊

If you're the type who doesn't mind a bit of immersion in this sort of thing (it's okay if you aren't!), then you'll probably find yourself being taken on a strange emotional journey that's overall very positive. At the very least, it's just plain pleasant to walk through, with a great soundtrack to boot.

Not many auzzies can do a brilliant "d'awww so cute" voice like you and at the same time have such a lovely deep and crisp tone at the same time/so fluidly.
And I absolutely loved the video, your videos are the only ones I will put on my tower speakers for at 80% bass and 50% volume (otherwise they would hurt my ears xD) but it's the only way I can truly feel and enjoy your videos since my phone can't handle your voice :þ.
It was wonderful having the first Gris video available when I needed something calm and relaxing. I was worried you might put this one on the back burner due to less views, but I'm seriously glad you're continuing it alongside the other games you're doing. Thank you Batesee!

I don't really mind the lower views either... I know videos like this aren't everyone's thing, especially from someone like me.
I just think, sometimes, it's good to drop our humour/irony shields for a moment to explore a sweet game like this. It felt great to record this, so if I could convey that to even a small amount of people, then my job here is done :)

@@TheBatesee When it comes to low views, I might actually be able to explain it a little bit. I didn't really get around to watching the first one until roughly a week after it came out, simply because I was more or less "saving" it for a time where I just wanted to relax, do some writing, or doodling, or whatever.
I don't think it's less people enjoy the calm content, they're just waiting for the right time to watch it.
