I mean this in the kindest way-please start putting different Staffy pics in your videos. Seeing the same pictures over and over is trite. Your from the country with lots of them-lets see them please!
my staffie doent lift his head when someone is coming through the door but he fly down from the couch and runs like hell to me when he hears me chewing on something in the kitchen 🤣
They will protect family if threatened or attacked just aswell and sometimes better than bigger breed's. But actually guarding the house while you are out you can forget it. Everyone is a potential playmate in these dog's eyes.
When i move out im gonna buy a staffy and i really can’t wait😍😍
I have a blue staffy and they r so relax and get a pedigree staffordshire bull terrier cause if its not it could be vicious
I have a staffy and she’s my best friend, maybe she got that from me but she’s really calm she doesn’t even bark unless it’s a stranger at the door
They are very easy to train so don’t worry about that the thing they need most is a lot of socialisation with other dogs and animals from a very early age.
My staff is nearly 10, he’s as every bit the pup that we rescued from the home he was abused since he was 6 months old. We’ve had him since then. Dogs do have ADHD and we believe our Junior has this. Wouldn’t change our dog child for the world.
Please stop putting that random video of will halfway through the video on every single video!!!
Can us staffy parents send you our pictures so you have more stock photos insted of reusing the same ones every video? 🥰
I have a blue staffy what 1 do u have
@@quixz6048 mine is a black and white staffy with a touch of brindle in the black blue staffy are absolutely beautiful lucky you ! But I wouldnt change her ❤
She's right ya know? Almost none of us would mind seeing our pups in your videos.
Mines got cow colors. Brown and White. With real light brown eyes. Not the most photogenic dog. But gosh dang he's got a super cute demeanor to him.
@@eddienelson9787 ur dog sounds beautiful 😍
Best dogs ever. Mine absolutely loved people. Id take him out everyday to wear him out has he had alot of energy took him to ring craft which helped alot so he,d stay and wait till called so i could ask him to stay throw a ball and he wouldnt move till told. On night any unusual noise he,d let us know. Fireworks never bothered him as id walk him on bonfire night as normal so he knew it was no big thing. When i could i take him to work. When i had my children and i watched programs and did training he was so calm and gentle round them. All that power even tug of war would pull hard as he could with me like tying to pull my arm out socket unless asked him to drop it, but with the kids wouldnt pull at all just hold then let go. I'll never have a dog like him. Thats why i couldnt get another staffy because id compare and no dog can live up to him because what we went through. Some day i think i will but could cry just looking at there faces nearly a year and im still heart broke
My experience of having had two Staffy’s (15 and 13 yrs), they’re the worst guard dogs ever 😂 They’re too bloody friendly, they’d have handed my stuff out to a burglar
My dog I swear ain't got an oz of mean in him. Just always curious outside. But it's gotten me pretty dead set on my go to breed of dog.
@@eddienelson9787 my two have died since my post, but I have a new puppy and yes, he’s another Staffy ❤️
Just good dogs overall.
My staffy very funny and always full of energy. 😊
If you want a small dog that can pack a punch when it comes to being a guard dog then yeah a Staffy does alright. But the reality of it is Staffys are not natural guard dogs, 9/10 times they just want to play with strangers, and secondly they really are not big enough or powerful enough to take down a fully grown man 1v1.
No doubt staffys are great dogs and great pets but if you want an actual guard dog then a staffy is not the best dog for that.
Yesterday I got a rescue staffy and she’s 10 months old. Whenever we talk to her or move around she lays on her back. Like when I walk into my room she runs onto my bed and lays on her back. Is this ok? Also she’s really energetic when she’s moving but then she just lays down and sleep after 😂 I’ve tried giving her toys to make her more active and not sleep all day but she doesn’t play with them. Is it just because she’s a rescue and tired or does she not like toys?
Megan a lot of rescue dogs can sleep up to 2-3 days after they get rehomed, they are tired mentally and physically ,stress will do that to them! Also they don't know you yet and it's like he is surrendering to you every time he sees you. Poor babe we are never sure what type of life they have previous had. It can take months for them to decompress in to a new home. I rescued Blue,an 8 year old staffi last year and it's taken me the year to sort out his issues, separation anxiety being the biggest one. Please leave him be and leave him decompress as for the toys he probably don't know what they are or what to do with them. Blue didn't know how to play with other dogs, when I put him in to doggydaycare once a week to socialise him a rottie pup showed him how to play! So sad really.so please be patient, let him get to know his new surroundings and his new humans. Thank you for saving him, good luck with your new baby.
My staff is like the calmest staff ever lol but staff are brilliant
90% of the people in these comments have a cross breed staff and not a full pedigree. staff are the god of small breeds
My staffy is the second best soul dog ive ever had.
Can a mix 50/50 amstaf /pitbull make a good guard dog? The dog in question is 75 lbs thank you
Is it a bad idea to take a staffy for protection training?
Yes. Because it totally goes against their nature. They were bred from the beginning to be totally reliable with humans because originally they are fighting dogs. Two handlers and a referee were always right next to the dogs when they were fighting in the pit. And the handlers would have to able to pick up and treat their wounded dogs without fear of getting bitten. Do yourself a favour and get a different breed for protection work.
You don't need to train them for protection work they will defend you if you are attacked. But they won't like attacking people on command as it goes totally against their nature. If your motivation for dog ownership is protection I'd say reconsider getting a dog all together.
I have a staffie APBT mix fearless loving sensitive judgemental but she hates other dogs 18 months old 56 pounds and she can dig a hole and she can jump like a deer
My friends house got burgled and they stole his two staffs they were too friendly to be guard dogs.
They might look menacing but very few will actually guard your home. So many are stolen once home has been robbed. I don't know if show ring is to blame like so many other breeds. For example airdale terrier, excellent protection dogs in USA n Russia but useless in uk where it was created.
What I wanna know is, will a Staffy attack an armed intruder?
Will looks good since he shaved the beard off 📴
I get everything that you Just said but can you Just really answer the question lol 😂 dont talk to us like we are stupid ive had a dogo Argentino when I was 13 years old I Just want to know if staffy is able to fight and wont let down ive grown up with dogs what is happened these days People trvat eachother like idots 😂 Just say yes they can guard they are confident... or no they are not wtf !! 😀 I get that you are trying to get views but be real
Some German shepard came up to me and my dog came running and protecting me and the German shepard ran to its owner
What kind of dog do you have
Useless guard dogs.
