Got my tickets for London UK in 2 months and he is one of the few I will happily pay extra for he plays for 3 hours no support. He is an incredible human being with a fantastic band.
A Bruce concert is the best party ever. I've been fortunate enough to attend 16 of them. I've been in the front row several times, shook his hand, strummed his guitar. His shows were 3 1/2 to 4 hours long. He's still performing and still does 3 hour shows. He writes all his own music and lyrics. The man is a musical phenomenon.
Greetings from Finland (the land between Sweden and the big boy next door who is throwing tantrums). If you liked this by Bruce, you might enjoy his Hungry Heart, or his Crush on You (1980's Tempe concert), or his Dream Baby Dream... those will give some of his repertoire and versatility. Meanwhile: great reaction - don't be afraid to smile! Hope to see more from you!
A very running reaction 🏃♂🏃♀! Born To Run was released as the lead single from Bruce Springsteen's 1975 album: Born To Run. It was written by Bruce Springsteen. It was produced by Bruce Springsteen and Mike Appel. The song reached #17 on the Cash Box 100 and #23 on the Hot 100. No music video was made for the original 1975 release of the song: "Born To Run". In 1987, a music video was released to MTV and other channels, featuring a live performance of "Born To Run" from Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band's 1984-1985 Born in the U.S.A. Tour. In 1988, director Meiert Avis shot a music video of an acoustic version of the song during the Tunnel of Love Express tour. He still touring in 2023. That drummer (Max Weinberg?) is bad! "Highway 9" refers to Route 9 in New Jersey, which went through Bruce Springsteen's hometown of Freehold (he sang about another Jersey road, "Route 88," in "Spirit In The Night"). The amusement park Bruce Springsteen sings about in the line: "beyond The Palace, hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard", is listed in the New Jersey Register of Historic Places. In the line: "hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard", a "hemi" is the 426 Hemi engine made famous by Chrysler muscle cars. "Drones" in this context are automatons, the young men driving their cars up and down the strip without a thought to the future. There was a movement to make this the official state song of New Jersey. A resolution to that effect passed the Assembly but died in the Senate. Legacy 🛡: In 1979, the song became an educational tool when it was used on Sesame Street as "Born To Add". In 1999, National Public Radio included the song in the "NPR 100", NPR's music editors' compilation of the one hundred most important American musical works of the 20th century. In 2001, the RIAA's Songs of the Century placed the song 135th (out of 365). The song came in at No. 920 in Q's list of the "1001 Greatest Songs Ever" in 2003, in which they described the song as "best for working class heroes". In 2004, the song was ranked #6 in WXPN's list of The 885 All-Time Greatest Songs. In 2016, "Born to Run" was ranked No. 16 in Pitchfork's list of "The 200 Best Songs of the 1970s". Some reactions to consider 🤔: Michael Jackson- Thriller (Official 4K Video), The Mamas & The Papas- California Dreamin' Live September 24, 1967 (The Ed Sullivan Show YT channel) or Blondie- Heart Of Glass.
