I’m from eastern Michigan. Lake st,Clair, it’s 65 and beautiful sunshine, I wish I could trade weather with you since I’m 82 and can’t do much. I enjoy watching you do you clean up 👍❤️
I love seeing all of the things that people can grow in different areas of the country. Thank you for making time to make your movies for all to enjoy.
Instant Karma elderberry will grow to be a monster in full sun and really take over for 8 or 10 feet when it is happy. Ahh...spring at last! It's great to get started again watching your garden progression.
You're a trooper, Jes! It was near 70 here in Springboro, Ohio today. I wanted to be outside but had a restless night of sleep.....not fun! I just love your baby chainsaw.....it's amazing!
I loved watching you out in your garden. Nothing feeds the soul like working in the garden and enjoying nature. Thank goodness winter is soon behind us. Greetings from Minot North Dakota.😊
Great video Jes. I agree spring clean up feels good. Things are wet but make things easier and you naturally feel cool without breaking a sweat. It also makes you feel new. They really should move New Years to First day of Spring so the whole new year actually feels new. Just like when we do spring cleaning. The feeling of fresh and new is great feeling.
Hi Jes, it's so gratifying to get gardens cleaned up. Your's looked so beautiful, especially after edging . And ohhhh those gorgeous Hellabors. I'm going to get me some of those this year. You and Laura from Garden Answers have made me love those plants. 😊❤ Thank you for sharing this movie with us and sharing your songs 🎵 I love to hear you sing so fun when you incorporate them in your movies 🎬 thank you Jes, for taking us a long on your garden clean up. ❤️ love you and God's blessings 😊❤
Always enjoy watching you work in the garden.. I’m outside on my back porch/deck and I laughed at myself because it’s so nice out here & I said “I’m watching someone clean up their garden as I sit here…” knowing mine needs work desperately. lol. I did do some the other day. & then a cpl min later my daughter said “is that your girl Jes?” Because she could hear you singing and she loves your voice. We all do. 😊♥️
I was sweating (dressed too warmly) cleaning a few beds in my north west Michigan garden today, north of Traverse City. As I was trimming a few deer-nibbled huechera and primrose, I thought, “I could be in Jes’ movie!”
Such a treat to wake up this morning in rainy Scotland to one of your lovely chilled movies. Your videos always make me relax. Ps I’ve tried wintering over my geraniums thanks to you. They’re not looking to promising and the conditions weren’t great but I’m giving it a try anyway. Have a lovely day! ❤
This is exactly the videos I love to see; the diamond in the rough. You have the perfect playground to make the most phenomenal gardens. Oh how I wish I had that when I was young! Keep the imagination going.
Jess oh I’ve been you on past properties little by little with a vision and hard work ( love that pink sweet saw!!) perfect size keeps you safe from overdoing 😹maybe . I love edging too like you everything is so beautiful with each part you put your hands on!! Love your videos!!
Nice edge! I thought; up north the grass dies off in the winter! We're originally from upstate NY. The grass there died off every winter. It was interesting once we moved to SC. The grass here also grows year round. And that chain saw is very impressive!!
Not cleaning in the fall is better for your garden and the insects. Don’t hesitate to leave the leaves until ground temps are consistently over 50-60. I know it’s hard to do but hibernating caterpillars, bees etc will love you for it.
It's been 2 weeks of perfect weather and the county tore up my road. I can't bring in supplies to redo my front yard flower bed. I am so frustrated. Congratulations on your vision to beautify your property.
To have some of your energy would be great. At 72 I think I used a lot of mine up. I'm thankful to have grown' sons now to do my hard work. Love watching you work in your garden.
Hi Jes. I’m using your movie as inspiration to me this morning. I’ll be going out to my gardens shortly as it will be into the high 60’s here in New York today. I just LOVE this time of year. ❤😊 Good job today and thank you for being there for us gardeners each week. You sure do inspire me.
35 degrees & working in the yard. Wow! I’m impressed, myself being from the south, I don’t go outside to work unless it’s 50 degrees or more. lol But I’m with ya on getting work like that done in the winter so you don’t break a sweat. Removing that bigger tree sure did make a difference! Great accomplishment today Jess!❤
You going strong Jess. Too bad about the record button. Fortunately I can use my 'Imagination'. And the man yells out T- I-M-B-E-R!!! Looking forward to another growing season with Jes.❤
Hi Jes, I love watching the beauty you're making in your garden. I've removed most of the grass from my garden & I turned it upside down & it decomposes & saves a lot of work.
I love seeing you back out in the garden, and I was able to work in mine cleaning up today! I always seem to make the mistake of making my flower beds too small, and soon everything seems to be crowded. How do you know how big to make the bed initially if you aren't sure what to plant? I guess making it bigger is not difficult, but I find i will need to move an aster over because a ninebark has gotten so big beside it! I guess it's a good problem to have!😊
New subscriber! My husband said it sounds like you were singing the song. Your a hard worker can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for the future. Blessings from Maine!
I tip my birdbaths and my pots on their sides. It seems to protect them. Zone 5b or 6a. I'm in Kansas now. Born in Battle Creek. Lived in Grand Rapids. Meant to tell you some of my pots have been cracked for years but they still make it.
I find a ton of lady bugs in protected pockets around my garden in the spring. I don’t think that they’re the nice lady bugs, they have a tendency to bite you but I imagine they still eat some of the bad bugs in my garden. 🪻💚🙃
We HAVE to get a burning permit now whenever we want to burn a brush pile. 😡 Luckily we just have to call them and let them know we’re going to be burning. I believe if we don’t they can fine us and we live pretty close to the fire station so they would be able to see the smoke in the air. ☹️🪻💚🙃

I love that song!!!❤️❤️ Your garden looks great!! Blessings!!🙏🙏🦋🦋
Making that new rounded edge made all the difference, looks good !!
As you were cleaning up that area, I thought, she should re-edge that and then you did! Great job. Love your chainsaw ❣️
I love seeing all of the things that people can grow in different areas of the country. Thank you for making time to make your movies for all to enjoy.

Jes, you are such a hard worker and so strong.
Thanks for sharing your vision for this area of your garden.I am as excited as you are to see how this progresses🌷
Wow that chainsaw does come in handy. Happy you got the job done. Nothing is more satisfying when we see the results of our hard work. 😅
You could always drop those clumps of sod into a bucket of water to really get the remaining dirt off. Nice job, Jes
Great clean up, the hellebores look so pretty😊

Jes you cleaned that area up so fast. Now you got a lot more room for planting more flowers. Looks good. The edging looks really good.
Amazing job Jess. Everything looks so much better 🤗💓💕💞

🎉 new video. I’m in the NE and don’t enjoy being out there in the cold 😂😂. Waiting for 50+ 😊

You got a lot done, great job as always:)
I’m preparing my garden for spring also! So much fun!
U can use flexsteel to fix ur birdbath. It works great!
Hi Jes, I love watching the beauty you're making in your garden. I've removed most of the grass from my garden & I turned it upside down & it decomposes & saves a lot of work.
Thank you P. Jes. I need to edge my beds this spring and your right much easier to do when the ground is a little wet. 🪻💚🙃
So exciting when we can get back into the garden!
Love your videos Jes! Thanks for sharing with us!
