What a great video! Thank you for sharing the beautiful wilderness and the peaceful waterfalls/rapids. My husband and I absolutely love all of your videos!
All of that white rock is milky quartz . But from miles up the creek . You might want to try the inside of the branches of waterways on the bench between . Those can pay . and that low ground where the standing water was is a good place to maybe dig carefully in the water . Nice catch basin . The inside of soft bends also . :) Good video Bjarne . :)
In a gravelly river like that, anything - if it is there - would be really low on the bedrock. Even dredging would not work here. One would have to dig an alternate channel and redirect. If anywhere on this river, I would look in that part of the channel which is dry and only gets big water coming down it seasonally. But it is fun all the same. I found some placer gold in the North Saskatchewan and McLeod rivers in Alberta. As they say: Gold is where you find it.
Inside bends and behind big boulders is what a guy needs to find some shinny. Nice river for fishing in the summer time i bet. Winter mths im sure theres not much in there
You do the panning , you find the gold first . Then I'll join in. Otherwise I'd be fishing , hunter gatherer, securing some fish on a stick , over shore fire! Mmmmmmm

Ever see that Gold Fever episode where Tom goes panning in storm drains and gets gold? I miss Gold Fever.
There White gold on hill and yellow gold in the valley BJarne. 😊
Bonsoir je vois toutes tes vidéos, les lieux où tu travailles sont absolument magnifique, bonjour de la France.
I'd love to take a few weeks and drive my 79 Bronco from my home in Alabama to the beautiful Northwest.

Posting the video was a dead giveaway that you did not strike it rich🤑 gold panning.😜
Makes me think about a little stretch of stream that is nothing but black sand but know nothing about gold panning.

I don't like the "relaxing" music, I think Bjarne's videos are best without it.
Helly Hansen jacket - Norwegian quality😏
The e in Bjarne is to be pronounced as the e in Hansen 😏
