Hi ! Thanks for the video !
Is it possible to use a classic linelock to fix the backup on an anchor ?
What is the difference between a mightylock and a classic linelock ?
I would not recommend use a standard line-locker ring for your backup. The Line-Locker rings are not nearly as strong as a MightyLock. Also, their geometry doesn't mate well with connectors that are suitable for highlines (namely, shackles)
@@BalanceCommunity thanks for the quick answer :)
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Soft shackle?
Is it possible to use a carabiner?
Yeah definitely for park lines. Under no circumstances should a carabiner be used for highline or longline rigging.
@@BalanceCommunity Why a carabiner is not compatible for longline rigging ?
@@Anto9_ The way we load carabiners with webbing puts a tri-load force on them, resulting in a far lower actual strength. There have been many cases of failed carabiners in longline rigging. Shackles are the preferred connector for this type of slackline.
Not compatible with heavy?
No, unfortunately, Heavy is too thick
