    If the news would just let people relax people would realize that the weather is always the same in California. Big Rain then no rain for years. Should have been building reservoirs instead of giving away heroin needles

    • @danielcarroll3358
      @danielcarroll3358 2 года назад

      Why do elsewhereians not know about the dozens of reservoirs and thousands of miles of canals in California? Some of the larger reservoirs have just risen above the 40% mark. Lots of room left. When there is lots of rain on the valley floors it is hard to get it to a reservoir as you can't pump it up there as fast as it is coming down. And remember, the main purpose of the larger reservoirs is flood control. Until we get near the end of the rainy season you have to leave room to protect the people downstream of the dams.

    I was reading the Bible and I saw that it is God who sends or withholds rain, he sends hailstones and thunderstorms. I wish people would start to read the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. 2023 is not smiling, we need to repent and turn back to God. It is God who sends the rain, it is God who told the ocean , you can only come this far.

    what the hell happen to climate change?

    • @danielcarroll3358
      @danielcarroll3358 2 года назад +1

      Climate change is caused by the average temperature of the earth increasing. The arctic and antarctic are warming faster than the tropics simply because they have further to go. As the difference in temperature between these regions is what drives the jet streams, they are slowing down. When they slow down they meander more and you get greater variation in the weather. More extremes of heat and cold and of wet and dry. So THAT is the hell that is being produced by climate change.

    • @marqueemark5917
      @marqueemark5917 2 года назад

      @@danielcarroll3358 in 130 years the globe has heated up to 1.1 degrees. Nothing but a fart in the wind. I HAVE SCIENCE TO BACK ME UP!

    • @danielcarroll3358
      @danielcarroll3358 2 года назад

      @@marqueemark5917 Well first it is heated up BY 1.1 degrees and climatologists know that at about 2.0 degrees we reach several tipping points. For example, arctic permafrost melts and releases lots of methane from rotting vegetation that has been frozen for millennia. That will cause a global temperature increase by itself of two or three degrees on top of the two or three that caused the melt. So we are talking about five or six degrees Celsius or nine or ten degrees Fahrenheit.
