    I got a B1 level in English when I started working a international company...little by little i've been learning more and more vocabulary and expressions with them.... Obviously one needs to be commitment with the goals and push more in order to get more advanced...I couldn't done without you guys...!!! You have always in my path to get more knowledge...thanks you ..

    All of your podcasts are very interesting. Right now, I'm currently at B2. Though my reading and listening skills are good, my speaking level has been stuck at B1 for two years now. I tried to practice, so I worked in a few call centers, but my speaking skills are still the same. So, I decided not to be in a call center anymore. Although it has been challenging to find another job where I can speak English daily, nonetheless, I won't give up! And I can tell that with you, I've learned a lot! So, for me, this is the BEST channel to learn. Thank you, guys.

    My story in the call center industry is similar to Tiago’s. I started as a customer service rep and that was my first job. Now I have been working in this industry for 10 years and don’t regret answering that screening call in 2014.

    Omg it sounds like the story of my life 😅. When I was 18, I started to work as a bilingual customer service agent with a B1 English level. I hated the job but to be honest, that was one of the best experiences in my life. It helped me to leverage my English skills and face the language in real life.

    I've been working in English language, I've written various books in English language, English is by far my 3rd language 🎉
    I guess we somewhere over analyse ourselves by comparing to others, I mean that's what I was doing in my case earlier.
    N we see that okay, we need to be at that level of English to do that, but it's not the case, it might be possible, that person got there and by keep working on that position he developed himself plus his current English level.

    Bonjour, I experienced almost the same story with my learning english as Tiago but Tiago was more consequent 'cause he has accomplished his mission with the certificate of the high level, I was not so brave and stubborn like Tiago ;) buh this not stopped me to applied for the jobs where english was requiert and got them !
    I just want to say merci beaucoup for this channel - you are in my top 2 !!! Please, don't stop your activity - NEVER ! - it helps a huge number of your funs according to the comments above 🧸👍 waiting for more 😁

    I am still learning English, even in another country where I have to communicate in English but is not the native language so, the accent here is so difficult to understand, and also I am afraid that I will end up picking up that accent.
    I like the American accent 🥰.

      Thanks for your comment Daniela - don't be afraid of picking up accent. Communicating with other English speakers is crucial for language learning! And if you care about masterinf American accent - just make sure you have enough immersion - watch American movies, listen to the songs by american artists and of course, listen to our and other podcasts! Keep living your English!

      • Minute 32:11. You were talking about the CV's that are kind of a Cookie Cutter and you displayed a Leonardo DiCaprio picture. 🤷🏻‍♂️🫣

    Guys, I don't like English, I love it with all parts of my body,
    And I would like to use it everyday. I have tried a lot to find a job so that I could be able to work in an English environment but I have been told you can't possibly work here cause you are too young.
    Yes that's true but I'm full grown from inside. I wanna do it I want to become who I wish to be.
    I'm speaking my mind right now I'm not talented I'm not smart but I do care about things, and I'll do whatever it takes to get the job done.
    To make the story short, I would like to work with RealLife English don't worry I speak English without thinking I have a C2 level And Im in an English Environment for 15 to 16 hours a day so if you make a bet on me

      There are different ways to express that! Here are a few examples:
      - I was absent from work today.
      - I didn't make it to work today.
      - I was not able to come to work today.
      - I had to miss work today.
      You should look for one who fits the context you're in.

    Wow, I stopped this video after hew words about moving to Kiev. I had no idea she was from Ukraine. Her English is impeccable, and her accent is nowhere near (can we say that here?) Slavic.
