Steve, I just wanted to jump on here and let you know how much your videos mean to my son (he is 11). He has been watching you for over a year now and you have inspired him to start teach himself guitar which is his big passion now, and he is getting regular lessons. Putting your videos on in the morning before school helps him get ready for the day. He isn’t the easiest to get going for school and you help him start the day with fun and positivity. Thank you 🙏. I’m sure I speak for a lot of parents who are thankful that our kids have found your channel. ❤️
PLEASE, do him the favor and try to get him a guitar teacher, at least for the first year or so. It is terribly easy to form bad habits, which prevent him from becoming better or really good, but it's incredibly difficult, to get rid of them again. It helps so much to have someone sitting next to you who has an eye on your posture, how you hold your arm, how you move your fingers. Besides that, it is very difficult as an untrained musician to come up with a practice routine that actually gets you somewhere. A teacher can create a solid foundation for your son to build on. And maybe that even affects his perception of school a little. At the end of the day, there is not a big difference between the major scale, the ABC or the multiplication table.
Slaughter to Prevail is awesome, I love Alex Terrible' s vocals, and he really doesn't take it so seriously either, when you watch some of his fun covers like Barbie Girl. Oh and those bass drops🔊🔉🔈
