Minus 3° was my coldest ride to work, So I have no cold limit so long as the road's were clear. But now that I'm retired and living in Florida I don't have that worry anymore.

Rick: I used to ride (weather permitting) down to mid 30’s/low 40’s. Today at 76 years old I cut it off at high 40’s/low 50’s. I have thinsulate lined jeans and jacket with special winter riding socks. Also have heated grips on my 2020 SGS. Great video!
100% about gear! With my windproof jacket and windshield on I am good down to about 50 on shorter rides. Longer ride or colder than that, got the heated gear. Could probably ride down into the 30’s with that but bike didn’t particularly enjoy starting in that. I also have fleece lined jeans and heated pant liner if I need that! Get the right gear and you can probably go as long as there’s not snow and ice!

I rode when it was 18 degrees out. No heated gear. My fingers were cold. Now i only use heated gloves. What a difference. Kemimoto doesn't have big man sizes. I would need a xxxl , unless they run real big. It does look like a well made vest though.
Dreary Ohio weather today. 50 degrees and took the bike out for a 70 mile errand. Had my heated grips on and no gloves going down the freeway at 75mph and was comfortable. The lowest temp I rode in was 17 degrees but that was only for a couple of miles. I want to take advantage of the weather while I can. Was surprised when you said the price. I had in mind it would be about $200. Might have to ask Santa for one of these. lol. Going to the Kemimoto website next. Thanks Rick. I appreciate these product reviews.

Lowest ever was a 19 degree (f) funeral ride. A few of us rode an hour to and back in colors for a brother. Today i rode and put up some vids from a 6.5 hour ride and atarted at around 40 (f) and zero issues. It was 60 by afternoon. If there's no ice or snow and it's Saturday... I'm prob gonna ride no matter what. Living in the south helps. 😎

To be honest the HEATED gear is not interesting living in Florida, we need some AIR Conditioned Gear… Bring the temp down to about 68 degrees when riding in the summer time.
Great tips on prepping for winter hikes! I’ve learned so much from this video. Personally, staying warm has always been tricky until I discovered Evofash heated jackets. They’re lightweight, stylish, and keep you toasty even in freezing temperatures. Highly recommend for anyone heading outdoors this winter! ❄
I have ridden in upper 30s however I have the hotwire suit from cycle gear. Awesome, also is not battery operated it is hardwire to the battery so no worrying about recharging. I may buy that for walking around time with family. As always great video brother.

I got a heated vest last Christmas haven't wore it riding yet as far as now days at 67 I don't even qualify for this question I can't stand riding below 70 . Good thing I live in the south

I’ve rode in the 20’s. However I don’t recommend it. It slows your sometimes critical reflexes. Riding is supposed to be fun. Below 40 for me isn’t fun.

For me, 35 degrees is about the coldest weather I will ride and not for very long. I won't ride if it's below freezing there could be ice

Doesn't seem like enough heating element coverage.
It is super warm. The thermal reflective material really holds the heat and warms up the entire vest. Great core warming. 👊👍✌️
