Hi Cathy Being quilts are bulky they would not have the ease of turning freely. Should the quilt be small, say measuring 18" x 18" , that would be doable. MaryAnn

Mary Ann uses the Bernina #20 foot in the video. Hope that helps!
Also should you be using another brand machine, I like an open toe.
