I sung this song for Father's Day. Initially, no one knew what I was singing about until I showed them this clip. As a young man who's lost both his parents at a very young age, and some people can relate to this, it is very hard to express what is going through our minds.
I wish my father didn't pass on to greener pastures so soon so I could build a stronger father-son relationship. Regardless, I'm thankful for the memories and moments spent together, and all glory to the man above that they guide me through the times we live in now.
This song speaks so much to my heart, my son sent it to me one day and all I could do was cry cause as men we don't talk about our feelings. And in August I played this song for my Dad at his service, I love you Dad and thank you for being the man you are and being the best Dad I could have ever asked for, I LOVE AND MISS YOU AND MOM!!

My dad passed in 2003 i was 20yrs old. My father was a solo dad to 3 girls but is a father to 5 girls in total. Lost my old man couple months before my wedding in 2018.. was the hardest year of my life and the hardest thing I’ve encountered in life. Wish he saw me get married and my lil sister turn 21 and see her get married. I know he’s looking down but it ain’t the same.. worst thing about it all was seeing half of my mums heart leave her that day because the other half is for us kids so it was very dark day.. anyways I love this song .
