That’s what I love about this podcast. They both push each other to tell stories we wouldn’t hear otherwise.
When I met my husband, he was making just a little over $20,000 a year. Our first date was at Burger King; I ordered an original chicken sandwich. I helped pay off the balance on his books at his college that was keeping him from going back to school. He was able to go back to school, earn his degree, and 5 years later, he said I could quit my job. It’s been over 20 years since then, and I haven’t had to work another day AND I can eat as many lobsters that I want. 😜 Like Ocho said, “If you have to lead with money, he or she ain’t for you.” Love you guys!
