  • Do not do this modification. 40v battery on a Razor E100 scooter, 12v relay throttle control, Very Unsafe.
I used a 12v relay that I already had on hand. I had a feeling it wasn’t going to work correctly. 40v is way too much power to go through the 12v relay. Throttle got suck in the “ON” position. The brakes were not strong enough to slow down the scooter. Very dangerous mod. See what my daughter had to do at the end of the video!
I just ordered a few different types of relays to get the scooter working correctly. We are going to try a 24v relay, 36v relay, and a 48v relay. I will make an update video of us testing the different types of relays on this e100 scooter. We are determined to make the scooter work correctly.

That was amazing! At least you and Han Solo had the same thought: "I have a bad feeling about this."

Lol, she went 16 mph before she lost control of the scooter and jumped off. The throttle stayed on maximum full throttle and she couldn’t slow down with the brakes. We ordered a larger 48v relay and it should arrive soon. It will still be fast, but with more control over the throttle.
