You did an excellent job videotaping. When it comes to those nuts and bolts like that I use pb blaster. I like the longer videos for some reason. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you’re family.
Man I was thinking, you know those black rubber Joyner pieces you put on cable tray divider. That would slip over the edge of that fender and give it a finished look. It looks awesome I can truly tell your skills is improving greatly God bless brother
Wow…I give you credit for successfully completing this install. I don’t think I’d be able to do a job like this myself…partly because my ‘18 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali is my daily driver 🤣. Id love a lift and big beefy all terrains on mine 🔥💥👌
That $900.00 I spent on labor to have my local shop install my RC 6” lift was money well spent. Especially after watching this video. Good job though bud.
Just straiten the saws all blade back I bend them all the time It looks good Harbor freight sells a reciprocating air saw You can use saws all blades jigsaw blades metal blades wood blades it’s a little handheld air tool it’s awesome
Nice job especially without the benefits of a lift. That will come in handy if you ever get flooding agaiin. Did you get a front end alignment afterwards or is it not necessary ?
I Accidentally let the whole system drain so I had to bleed it down at the master cylinder then I used a hand pump at each wheel. It was easy after I bled it at master cylinder though
How did you bleed it at the master cylinder? Do you know if there’s a way to prevent the whole system from draining? I assume you wanna keep the cylinder full somehow. My kit also includes replacement brake lines.
Yes you don’t want to screw up like me and let the master cylinder bleed down. I would either wrap something around line to plug hole so it doesn’t bleed out while changing out or kink old lines and tie up since you throwing away old lines anyway.
Awesome Build beautiful looking truck. Wondering how tall your garage door is because I bought a 5 inch zone kit 22 x 12 with 33 tires. I had 6 1/2 inch clearance too, without raising it. did your lift raise it just what the lift size actually is
I personally would have never butchered that bumper and would have used the bumper spacer. I am a paint and body guy so very particular about paint / body panels
We didn’t stop it from draining. We just let it drain and then refilled it and bled it all when finished. Best way to do it is just change brake lines first so it won’t drain down.
BDS is a great brand of lift , I wouldn’t expect anything less than good easy to follow instructions! Great job!
Thank you. Yes they are a great company.
To Tylers dad i can say your truck is looking super cool with the new lift kit installed.
Thank you. I love that truck. Best looking truck I’ve ever had.
Super clean for the win 🥇
SuperClean is some awesome stuff
This video is great, hope your family has a blessed Christmas and new year!!!!
Thank you Sophie.

This thing is going to be a monster
You are just putting the first back tire on and I can tell the truck is going to awesome.
Haha. Thanks. I am so happy how it came out.
Looken good... Merry Christmas to you & your family...

I know exactly what you are talking about. I’ll check it out.
Thanks we are learning a lot as we go. Almost a year at it.

It was a massive job. I just worked a little each day. I think I would pay someone next time.
Amazing work on the truck....looks great. Perfect stance. And I have a bunch of Mickey Mouse tools too! Lol
Thank you. It was a big job with the undersized tools.

Haha. Yeah you right. It was about 20 hours of work.

Any time
new subscriber hope your channel explodes and you get many subs god bless
Thank you so much. Glad to have you.
You take them little rings off the hub so after market wheels will fit
Looks real good. Guess if you went with a wider tire the rubbing would be worse?
Probably so.
Geaux Tigers baby!
Nice job especially without the benefits of a lift. That will come in handy if you ever get flooding agaiin. Did you get a front end alignment afterwards or is it not necessary ?
We get flooding a couple times a year here. Truck will definitely help out then.
I will get the alignment in a few weeks after the holidays.
Awesome job guys
Thank you. It was a long tough job
Not a single cuss word the entire time. Thats impressive
Haha. It’s a family channel.
How did you go about bleeding the brakes after the install? Fixing to install mine. Looks great
I
Accidentally let the whole system drain so I had to bleed it down at the master cylinder then I used a hand pump at each wheel. It was easy after I bled it at master cylinder though

Nice Job & Great Content .. Thanks for Sharing !
Do you recall if the Renegade R/T tires were 37x12.50R20 or 37x13.50R20 ?
They were 12.5 wide.

Thank you. Yeah the lift was about as much as it was described. Maybe a little under.
Hello, I recently
Got a bds kit but I noticed that the lower control arm doesn’t have much room due to the bumper stopper do those neee to be removed
I can’t remember what I did. Did you watch the whole video. It was pretty detailed.
I personally would have never butchered that bumper and would have used the bumper spacer. I am a paint and body guy so very particular about paint / body panels
I agree with you.
Def. Replace doors and go with the 2nd Camery.
I agree. Hope to get that project started soon. Always appreciate your support.
Do you remember the offset and width of your wheels? I think that setup looks good!
No sorry, but they are Fuel Anthem. You can find it on their website.
How did you stop the brake hoses from leaking?? Is there a way to disconnect the hose without it leaking?
We didn’t stop it from draining. We just let it drain and then refilled it and bled it all when finished. Best way to do it is just change brake lines first so it won’t drain down.
Does the kit come with front and rear extension brake lines or just the front?
You’ll need new ring and pinions front and back to get your power back, huge downfall to huge tires
If you don’t mind me, asking, how tall is your garage trying to figure out if mine will fit with the lift
7’-11”.
Truck has about an inch to spare.
Ty I really appreciate you getting back to me
If you put 35" tires on would you still have to cut the bumper?
No. 35” would clear perfectly
What's the wheel and tire set up.. and offset??
It is 37” on 20” fuel anthem rims. Can’t remember the offset.
Where can I get a set of those side steps for my truck?
Check out the other video in the series. The brand should be in the description. I think the video was titled best first mods or something like that.
Sad, no pics of the finished product
What part of Louisiana you in?
Down in the south East part above the lake
@@SwampBoysGarage hell yeah I'm in south Louisiana too, great looking truck
BDS is for that custom I’m broke, and won’t buy something different, even worse than RC
Bds is the best money can buy.
