@@richardcallihan9746 The reference I made about children and the census. I have copies of censuses of my family going back to the 1800's. I depended where the census was taken. But, Raskin does beat the woman who ranted about abortion rights, and RATHER SUGGESTION WHAT TO GIVE MOM INSTEAD OF FLOWERS, FOR MOTHER'S DAY. MAKES AOC and Raskin seem almost intelligent.

The purpose for letting them in via open borders is to reapportion new voting districts. As of now counting illegals will open 60 new seats. No doubt they will vote Dem. Illegals have no right to vote; only American citizens.

So he points out that the constitution is clear as day when it comes to this topic but when we are debating on the topic of guns, there are definitely exceptions and ammendments that need to be made. The constitution is also very clear that our gun rights shall not be infringed upon and yet here we are.

It's about the fact that states are awarded seats in Congress based on the census. Counting non-citizens basically creates seats in Congress to represent non-citizens. That is crazy!!!! And corrupt!!!!! By many estimates there are 20 to 25 million illegals in the US. That is almost 10% of the whole population. Think about that!!!!!!

The definition of citizenship is meeting the legal requirements of the nations, state or local organization to which you want to belong. It also indicates that it's not possible to have dual citizenship.
Legally, all individuals here illegally are not citizens and are not eligible for the rights and benefits granted to those that have shown sole loyalty.
As long as those that are not here legally, they are still citizens of their former country.
That would indicate that moving people around the country to favor one candidate in an election is of no benefit.

Women not able to vote yet, in 1910. She would have to apply for citizenship on her own, however. Also, make sure YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE IS UP TO DATE, if you are a woman and have been divorced and maintained your ex's last name.

The Constitution doesn't say what Raskin says. The Constitution says a census shall be made very 10 years. Period. It says nothing about who is included in the census. Congress has the authority to define that question.
@heatherhall7899 It's not in the census language. Read 14th Amendment Section 2. "Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed."
An illegal is a person and since 1790 all persons have been counted. Even women, slaves, and children who had no right to vote.
@@Malachor8091 Incorrect. All persons with a legal RESIDENCE within the town/county/state are counted. If the census workers come to the door, and you are a resident of France here temporarily, they don't count you. Since illegals don't have any genuine residence in the US -- except an illegal one, they really don't live here and shouldn't be counted. AND the purpose of the census tells you the same. Because the PURPOSE is to allocate Congressional representatives to states. It would be absurd to allocate Congressmen to represent non-citizens. Why do Democrats want to disenfranchise US citizens, anyway?
@heatherhall7899 Scotus did not permit a citizenship question on the 2020 census and has historically ruled that illegals are persons for purposes of apportionment. Even homeless people are counted in the census so residency per se doesn't matter. If you want this changed a constitutional amendment has to happen. This House bill won't pass in the Senate and if it did Biden would veto it. Another example of House Maga passing bills with no chance to become law.
