Very insightful.. as a male and aviator, it helped me understand the challenges our women counterparts battle as well as develop empathy towards the same.. Heartening to know the current generation of men are operating at a nicer level with their lady colleagues.
Appreciate the understanding capt. Yes if women are allowed ro be vocal and society receipble , we can together solve a lot of issues ansnupport the rest. And I agree with capt. Priya on today's generation stepping up. The support puts us so much at ease and comfortable in motherhood and ultimately womanhood. I firmly beilive if the society expects us to reproduce, please do understand and support. It takes a village to birth and raise a child. A mother too shouldn't be left behind.

I have been a pilot for last 31 years. Thankfully, I did not encounter any problems having a family, as I was with the IAF at the time. Indigo as an airline has been a frontrunner in employing women pilots, gainfully, while they are carrying, and also as young mothers. Hopefully other Indian carriers will take a leaf out of their book, and consider having friendlier policies for women pilots.
