  • Everybody makes mistakes. To score well in a mathematics exam, it is crucial that you are able to find and correct your own errors.

    for 6b 8:07 can't you just say f''(2) = 0 therefore must be point of inflection rather than f''(2) < 0 for x < 2 and
    f''(2) > 0 for x > 2? why do you have to show that it changes sign? doesn't f''(2) = 0 already assume that?

      Good question but that's just it... f''(2)=0 does NOT guarantee a point of inflection. Watch the other video I linked on points of inflection (or check your textbook) ruclips.net/video/LmHcF-xzipg/видео.html
