easy he’s basically a mentor figure for peter parker who tells him hes a spider totem some mystical crosspecies. hes essentially the reverse of peter he used his spider powers to become a billionaire but he isn’t necessarily a villain to peter. his role is to warn peter that morlun an energy vampire who feasts on totems is after him he even saves him at one point resulting in his “death”. to put it simply hes not whatever this is

He was supposed to be a mentor for Peter Parker in comics after he gets himself powers first until he kept switching sides everytime when he wanted to be chosen, now here he’s a full on villain seeking out to kill the 3 spider woman who try to kill to kill him in the future some reason. Then he gets his own spider man suit with no web shooters

The costume they gave this guy in this movie makes it even harder to even try to attempt to defend this movie in try8ng not being a Spider-Man related thing. This dude in the books literally just has a suit on with no shoes. This is like the reverse of how some other live-action superhero stuff, like Smallville for example, where they don't have the characters in their comic costumes
“Trying not being a Spider-Man thing” the movie literally features the birth of Peter Parker, I doubt it was even trying to not be a Spider-Man related thing

We also have seen him in an old and young age which in this movie will showcase us, what will happen to him in the future. Plus in the comics you also had white hair.
I'm more excited about how these three of them work together as a team and use the power of friendship against Ezekiel.

There’s just something about his suit that makes it so beautiful. The complimenting colors of black and red, and the design itself. There’s a sort of awe to be seen here.

Honestly, even if he’s not comic accurate, he has made me curious about this movie since I like the idea of an evil Spider-Man as the antagonist. Plus, his design looks really cool.

augh i hate that this actually works. From what i seen around Ezekiel is originally someone who wasnt destin to be a spider totem but he stole the powers from a ritual. I know a lot of you are hating it for that cringy line they gave Dakota but so far they have made the story work for this film. No superhero movie will be exactly like their comic story theyre always changed to fit the film format. We saw them do this in both Spider-man Homecoming and venom and yall loved those movies. Can we just get passed that line and appreciate what sony is trying here. Yall just want pure live action mutiverse spider-men in one movie, but that cant be done without felling rush or not well written. Its gonna take a few films to set that up.

It would be an interesting plot twist if Madam Web finds out why he’s trying to kill them (aka, to stop them from killing him) and instead of proving him right for trying to kill them first decides to spare his life and rewrite fate. Thus proving that we are not bound by time and thus have the free will to shape our own futures. Which, given the fact that this character’s powers seem to tie into the fact that she sees the future and then tries to change it, would be super fitting and ideal given how the story seems to play out.
But, most likely it’ll probably end with Madam Web and the others killing him anyway, thus proving that he was totally right to try and come after them in the first place.
Unfortunately he gets crushed by Pepsi in the movie

I can already feel like he’s gonna be the best part of the movie and I’m not gonna watch it I’ll just watch a compilation of his scenes.
He's not, lmao. His character is the most cartoony villain character in Marvel. Almost nothing is explained about his motives, and nothing in the movie actually shows his prowess as a villain. He doesn't even properly use his powers, he mostly just walks slowly while being menacing. There is really nothing enjoyable about this movie.
He is a fascinating villain, just not in the movie we got with canny ADR dialogue guy written by AI.

If we do basic math, the movies is likely to be set in the year 2003. The events pf Spiderman Homecoming was set in the year 2017 where peter was 15 years old. The supposedly the spider girls will save the 1 year old Peter and give it to Uncle Ben. So Peter was born in the year 2002, been gave to Uncle Ben in year 2003 which Peter was 1 year old, and 14 years later, Peter was 15 years old in the year 2017. So their is a possibility that this is actually set in the MCU.
