You tune it like other string instuments by lessen or tighten the string at metal head on top of this instrument. There would be a thing to tune it with in the package that comes with the instrument.

Just learned about this instrument, looks great! Does it hold the tunes well? How often do you have to tune it?
At first it may need frequent tuning. After a while not often.

Hello, can intermediate sounds be played on this musical instrument?
It's like 17 keys kalimba. Range from 1 - 3" (C - E)

It's just like playing kalimba. You just change from plugging the tine to plugging the string.
