Excellent update and tremendous running - thank you Roy. I was pleased to see someone else using roofing felt as underlay ballast ... it does indeed have a sound deadening effect I think. Thanks for sharing 👍🚂
Hi Roy. Love the 66 hoppers look brilliant. Only got one 66 myself and that's a Bachmann. Hey know what you mean with the hornby points, slowly getting rid of them for Peco. Loads look good, been making my own for my seacow hoppers. Love the clickerty clack when the hoppers went by. Layout looking brilliant Roy. Superb running session. Great sound from the 66. Great vlog Roy, thank you. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete....
It was probably something like that as when I shimmed it higher one side it did stop derailing. It was like it from new but I put up with it. Thought I'd best change it before I ballast as it would be much harder to change after. Thanks for your comment.
Oh... you mean the guards whistle...no not on the freight. 66 looks great and sounds the part. Nice update Roy. So you don't re-use it, file the Hornby point under "R".
Hi Roy, Pesky points they can be a big pain sometimes but well done for replacing it as for the 66 looks good a bit like my Hattons one although yours should be more reliable than the one that Accurascale engineered and improved it from. I have the same ballast as you as it was a good price so I will have to see how I get on with that as not done a whole lot of it before. You look well and I hope your wife is keeping good to, now its time for you do that ballasting don't fall asleep will you!!!! Cheers Robert.
Thanks again for your comment Robert, we are both keeping well thanks for asking. I wasn't looking forward to doing the ballasting but once I got into it found it was quite enjoyable, have to be verry carefull around the points though.

Thanks again for your comment
The graffiti looks pretty good, you've done a grand job Roy😍
Thanks for the compliment
Nice Video Thumbs up from me!
Thanks for the like and commenting.😊
Thanks for your nice comment. The roofing felt can be used grit side up for ballast but reverse side up as tarmac so two uses.
Thanks for your nice comments Pete. Yea those Hornby points are a pain, now to finish my ballasting😊
great update, I love your modelling. I had a point where the frog was a fraction higher than the other side and that caused the same issue.

I take it R is for rubbish, think I'll tranfer it to B bin😁 Thanks again for your comment.
