Hello there!
For New Year's Eve, I bring you a new fresh arrangement, often requested, and deservedly so!
Three weeks ago I saw a suggestion for the Mandalorian (shoutout to @Acerbium), and decided to watch the first episode because why not. Instantly hooked on the atmosphere and the BRILLIANT soundtrack! Bringing traditional, ethnic, epic & modern at the same time, this theme is sooo well done (no wonder why Ludwig Göransson will handle the next Nolan's Epic's OST!). I started arranging it immediately after listening to it once.
Also, this arrangement was one of the most challenging task I had to do in recent times: from the dissonant chords at the beginning, to the heavily layered orchestra in the middle (there are so much voices going on at the same time), the complexity of this piece was quite unexpected. I have to admit I am quite proud of my work, especially the epic crescendo at 2:15, tell me what you think...

I've listened to several Mandalorian piano covers, and this is objectively the best and most accurate of them all. You really managed to keep the feel of the original in your performance as well. Your cover deserves a lot more traffic than the others. I can tell you put a lot of work into the arrangement. Excellent work!

What a fantastic arrangement to end the year on, and a perfect challenge to start the new year learning! The drop at 0:54, the crescendo, emulating the pan flute at the end leading to the outro, even the bells chiming every few measures, this arrangement is just so spot on. I’d watched the show with my family, and now they’re suffering through me geeking out over your work here. So glad you liked the show!

It's unfair underrated
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
This is fantastic! Small suggestion from my own attempts to decode the song - the original is muddy and super hard to hear (I had to slow it down, and apply filters to it), but the bass line in the triplets part should be Ab G F D Eb G (not Ab G F Eb D G).
(My intuition had pulled me hard towards the sequence you landed on too, but my intuition was wrong.) 😅
Hey Arya! I absolutely love this kind of nit-picking / ear challenge! So I checked, listened, filtered, and it's driving me crazy! For the first iteration (1:25), listening through I cannot NOT hear a descent (the intuitive one). When I isolate the last two notes, indeed I hear a [Eb -> G], but it could be a residual Eb from one note prior to that, stronger than the D, which by the life of me I cannot hear, even if I force myself to hear your suggestion. Slowing down the thing, I hear the D of your suggestion, but NOT the Eb!! Sorcery I say.
HOWEVER. The second iteration (1:54), I'm 97.6% sure you're right. Very good catch. Though... The Eb is suspiciously discrete...
I'm still confused (moreso by the first one, that shouldn't be different than the second one), but you must be right! I think I'll come back to it later to be sure and not have this kind of unanswered question in my life.
