There is some funny business going on with the bot farm protectors. Back when I used to play RS3, there were people protecting the cursed energy bots, but I don't remember what year that was.
It's Venezuelans running a flawless script, monitoring 24/7 and do weak PK attempts, since they actually don't know how to play the game. If they can earn 10$ a day, they actually already make more then a monthly salary in Venezuela. You can see by the bot protectors talking in Spanish. It wouldn't even amaze me if a bunch of kids are playing for real and catching the chins, making Jagex not detect them, just catching them all day would make them more money then a job in Venezuela. I actually did some research and they even sell LVL 3's with 99 Agil (pretty much an unbottable skill), so they actually do a lot manual.
Whats funny to me is that these are pretty low effort "protectors" too as some of the ones that i've personally seen are purely botted accounts with the cheating plugins to overhead protect from what style you use. Ofcourse it's not foolproof but it would discourage most regular pvpers to try to fight them. Usually the bots will log out and then these fucking terminator bot protectors would log in with NMS level hybridding plugin bullshit.
Not to mention falsely banning legitimate players. It’s happened to plenty of famous players who had the connections / status to get it overturned (Solo Mission, EVScape, Lynx Titan, Ronan/Gudi, Oda) so we can only imagine how many regular players got falsely banned and never got a second chance, just an automated scripted response.
I found these guys, maybe a different group, awhile ago myself. Me being a shit pker I didn't fare well but I still profited off of the bots and didn't lose more than 50k. Thanks for avenging me, though you did not know it.

@@TummaKing only if you are a high lvl player who knows the game inside and out, a average osrs player might only get 1-2 H total a day to go on if that, and is not aware of the best money making methods, some of which you need high combat or slayer to do. Just my thought. They need to stop players boting so easily.
if you try to make wind orbs.. the guy who is running all the bots will show up and kill anyone who's not one of his bots to keep the price as high as possible

I used to run two low level pking accounts. Only needed range level for dark bow. And protection prayers. I used to literally just pk at Chins and air orbs and make absolute bank.

It makes good business sense not to ban them. As you hop you realise it's only bots ever getting black chins that are then sold on the G.E. without these bits Black chins would be a dead market.
i made a pure account just to hunt these bots i got 50 range and magic and killed hundreds of them and nobody turned up to warn me, ive even been training noobs to kill these bots because even the worst pker can make 1m/hr i like to fight the other pures too but bots come first.
