    If the ORI site rich in TATA, during termination in eukaryotes Telomerase will come with RNA sequence of ACCCCAAC to clear telomere , here this two are not complementary with each other then how termination will end? I think TATA Box only served as promoter site not ORI side.

    how do we know it is 3 prime or 5 prime end?

    • @emily9917
      @emily9917 2 года назад +2

      3’ end starts with the 3rd (3’) Carbon/Corner of the pentose. 5’ end starts with the 5th (5’) Carbon coming off the 4’ carbon/corner of the pentose.
      1’ C is the first Carbon from the O, it’s the corner with C-R group; moving clockwise the next corner is the 2’ carbon (C-OH for Ribose, CH for deoxyribose); the third corner has the 3’ Carbon ( free C-OH or bound C-O-PO3); the next carbon/corner is the 4’ carbon. The 5th (5’) carbon is bound to the 4’ carbon but it extends out from the pentose; the 5’ carbon (free C-OH or bound C-O-PO3) is in the 5th position from the 1’ corner,
