@@sentryion3106 there’s something special about them going all in and keeping the same roster. There’s more to CS then just who has the best mechanics. These boys showed passion and played as brothers in arms.
They were the whole year in top 10, big dip my ass. Won 2 of the 3 biggest tournaments, the last cs go big tournament. I think they succeded more than any other team on the last 8 months.
No matter how good jks performed, he's ice cold in every situation.
You never see him stressed, angry, happy or even excited. But the way he plays shows how committed and focused he is.
He's truly a humble yet skillful player in G2.

It's nice and very cute that they trusted their coach to lift the cup. A guy with no coaching experience came to this place and achieved the result - quiet, calm, an underrated star of the team, in the future, it is likely, there will be a legendary coach, the potential is huge!
People sometimes tend to forget him, but he is really so smart... For example, timeout on mirage (13-10) were G2 position to a strong A site that leads Ence exactly into a trap. He was the one who called it out after reading Ence like a book and that help to maintain that map under G2's control. Glad that more people starting to notice him even more!

An absolute treat for G2 fans. Niko wins both iem Kato n Col in the same year which is also the last year of csgo is poetic. Hunter switches to diff beast in front of an arena. Jks being usual og constantly supporting the team. Monesy being the absolute god in finals. And he is only 18. Great calling by hooxi n very decent fragging throughout the event. And lastly Swani getting the full home support. Love this team❤🔥
Im happy for these 2 big tornaments win but still feel like shit that they didnt make it to win the major😢
The duo of Kovacs, the clutches from huNter, the AWP prowess of monesy, the unseen duo of jks and monesy in a 2v3 or 4 situation, the passive/agressive of jks, the call and in game leading from hooxi and the absolute monstrous rating of NiKo. Man this is the Perfect G2 I have ever seen and hopefully someday they can lift a major trophy together. Congratulation G2 forever
Something about this csgo roster is that if they are playing their best no team in the history of the game (no not even astralis) could beat them
@@saltare5904 for real tho, they are like a juggernaut of a team same as prime Astralis but hopefully this win and a deserved rest won't affect them mentally to be drain again just like the last tourneys. Good luck to them and hopefully be consistent again next time.
@@saltare5904and many people dont know this but when G2 played vs Faze in group stage of this event, there was a time when Karrigan got so frustrated he was caught by the cameraman saying to his team "Its impossible to play against these guys"

they unfortunately lost a lot of clutches on anubis otherwise their T side has been so dominant this whole event that even after being 5-10 down they would've won on anubis as well
If they played it simple instead of walking into nertz crosshair they could have kept going
They really need to balance the map. Anubis is worse than Inferno for "lose a site, lose the round"....need to try hard to lose as Ts
Super gameplay from G2. Niko unfortunately as the GREATEST rifler of Csgo was unable to win a major no matter how hard he carried, but now thanks to m0nesy, his cousin hunter and the explosiveness of Hooxis calling he won something thats equally as prestigious in my opinion and it was beautiful. Congratulations to G2 and of course Mr.Crymeariver(thankfully hes both ence and g2 supporter so he had no worries).
This was like Niko’s redemption arc where he was able to focus his raw power as well as his high emotions. Beautiful how they kept the same roster and showed how growing their bond was instrumental in taking the trophy.
These past two colognes have had better games than the past 2 Majors.

Every Big/Major final should be a best of 5 imo! Look how easy G2 swept the first 2 maps, imagine that was the end, would of been cruel on Ence & anticlimatic! Then the fight back on Anubis just adds much more drama & skill into the final, you have to have a much wider map pool & makes it feel like a much bigger event!
and also the fact that final happens on sunday with a single match
so if its a bo3 final can potentially end in just 90 mins time
there are so many people who travel from diff. countries to watch the event so they would want to atleast enjoy the event for 3-4 hours
imagine going to an event on sunday which ends in just 90 mins and then u go home

u ask any pro player they would mostly like to play bo3 in finals
whenever a bo5 final goes to the 5th map there are chances of mental & physical fatigue which can lead to one sided result in the final map
It happened in gambit v heroic final during covid era
gambit won 4th map to take it to 5th but were so much fatigued that they literally were not able to win straight aim duels and mirage (5th map) turned out to be a blowout
it was the same match when cadian got that insane 1v4 clutch on A site
I feel only Major, Kato & Cologne should be bo5
Don’t get me wrong I love bo5 but it can be really taxing on the players
its so crazy when u realize that in ALL 3 maps that they won, monesy was the one multifragging/clutching or closing/opening the last round with his frags. it really feels like he wanted to step up, but also give g2 and niko the trophy they deserve. makes me even like him and this roster more ❤

@@starvinq6174 you are not watching. He literally is given support flashes to go in first because no one else on his team has better accuracy and crosshair placement like him. He has the highest T side rating while having high opening rates as a rifler. Especially in the last map where he went in first again and again on the A site to either get a kill or be traded.
@@lylewarren4391 yea sometimes he entries but not every round on nuke an mirage he often was the second player in cuz hes more valuable as that second man. As I already stated hes crazy good in mid round situations were he is just better with his crosshairplacement.

On mirage and anubis he was second on both statistics behind monesy the awper. seriously you are basing every thing on your eye test when literally even in nuke he goes in yard almost always first and is also left in yard all alone. Contrary to your opinion, the stats say otherwise. He literally entries because he has to, his team relies on him a lot doing the entries because he's the best at doing it.

Man, Niko and Monesy was just insane this final, especially niko since he is a rifler and he was still good on anubis where monesy struggled a little. JKS is just a solid beast as always, this guys consistancy is crazy, the amount of 1v1 duels he won was big. Niko was definitely the MVP but monesy wasn't too far behind at all for that race.
JKS post match interview: "Rasmus called incredibly well the whole tournament, and of course Niko Hunter and Monesy carried both of us... i mean i think i did ok as well but its really easy to play when you have those 3 players doing what they are doing and Rasmus calling like he is ... i just have to do my job and *fill in* ... i mean for me it was pretty cruisy the whole way through so..."

Ence did plenty and deserved to be there, but seemed they didn't hit the ground running (maybe a Grand stage cold feet) and before they started playing they were 2 behind. G2 really shaped up from the team that lost to a new Na'VI (though they performed quite well for shaping synergy new team) 2 weeks ago

I was actually pretty impressed with the tactical ability of Ence. It was pretty clear they were going to lose in open combat but they had smart strategies especially on Anubis but also on Ancient to make it close, in the end though their entries needed work T side and a lot more aggression than necessary while defending as CT, but once they took a bomb site T they typically held up pretty well.

Bullet deviation makes the 2nd shot act quite random, even with that amount of time between shots.
He got a bit lucky, but it takes a skilled player to give yourself the best chance of hitting a shot like that.
