Fun fact: in Norse mythology you didn't have to be "worthy" to pick up Thor's hammer, but it was so heavy that it was almost impossible to lift even Thor (the strongest god interms of strength) needed strength enhancing items to wield it

@@nuggethasnolife the "worthy" part was just an MCU gimmick. No such thing exists in actual norse mythology. Thor just needs special gloves and belt to hold the hammer. However his son magni can hold it without any such add ons.

The person wasn’t lying, see sometimes when someone uses a pickaxe with the animation of Mjolnir since mjolnir is the first to have it, so when it’s the start of the match it’s not correctly loading in and it turns into Thor’s hammer

I think it would be like a skin specific pickaxe like the venom pickaxes if it weren't for the fact that captain america was proven worthy. I think captain america being able to weild mjlnor is just an easter egg.
The reason why some skins are wielding Thor's hammer is because when you use a pickaxe that uses the same animation the game sometimes doesn't load it in. I know this is true as it has happened to me.
For me a pickaxe from chapter 2 season 5 have 3 styles and one is axe but it dosen't do the thor hammer animation he do the dual pickaxe animation and is weerid to see how your skin destory with one punch and in the other hand with an axe..and it's not the first time it's happend to shehulk pickaxe too (on the first style i get the dual animation)
Yeah all the pick axes with thors animation are just those pickiest but the hammer in disguise. But yeah you're correct

As an MCU junkie I’ll say this: When Jane Foster comes out in Thor Love and Thunder, if they do a collab then she will be worthy. Otherwise we’ll have to wait for the MCU to catch up with the comics on who all has actually wielded Mjolnir.

The reason why he said that el Chapulin could hold it is because when you spectate someone, there is a glitch with 1 handed pickaxes so the one hand pickaxe re skins as Thor’s hammer.
It’s not a glitch that’s the default model so when they aren’t rendered properly the appear as Thor’s hammer

It's most likely that thing that happens when you load into a match and your skin appears as a default, but with pickaxes. Being as the hammer was the first pickaxe to use that animation.
So you know, Tabor, there have been a few characters to lift Thor's hammer, even by accident. That does include Loki, but he was only able to do so through a trick. It wasn't even his own; It was cooked up by Doctor Doom and Scarlet Witch and it reversed every hero with every villain, making Thor evil and Loki worthy.
Can it even be call a trick if not done by loki

Since mijonir was the first 1 handed pickaxe every other single handed pickaxe added afterward like the combat knife from the terminator skin package had the same animation and default equipping animation mijonir does and if the pickaxes texture has not loaded yet it will appear as mijonir.
Only cap America and Thor can wield it
It'd be cool if Superman could wield it, as reference to that one time when Marvel and DC were so broke that they had to do a crossover.
Well, as far as I can tell, there a number of harvesting tools that use Mjolnir's swing animation. I think that sometimes those particular harvesting tools will fail to load properly, and show Mjolnir as a default render. Kind of like how different people will appear as default skins when their actual skins fail to render.
To test this try a gamemode where many players are using changing phone booths simultaneously, like a Fashion Show Gamemode. You may even see defaults using Mjolnir.

Sometimes when a pickaxe with the Thor’s hammer swing animation is equipped it shows up as Thor’s hammer such as sunny’s guitar or the gladiolus of potassius

In the Comics where Marvel and DC did a crossover Wonder Woman was able to wield Mjolnir so I wish she could in Fortnite

Something I want to address , The Reason why someone might’ve seen someone wielding Thors Pickaxe is because some pickaxes are literally reskins off of that Pickaxe for example the Batman Who Laughs Death Metal scythe doesn’t always load in when spawning and it’ll appear that Batman who Laughs is wielding Thor’s hammer when in reality it’s just a visual bug

In the 90s official marvel vs dc comics where characters from marvel fought characters from dc (and later on FUSED with them... yeah 90s comics are weird) when thor fought wonder woman it was revealed she was worthy she didn't use it because she thought of it as a unfair advantage but still they should've made so she could use it.

Hey Tabor, I just wanted to tell you, that the Nailed it Emote from this season's BP is perfect for viewing skins from the front and back, because the character turns sideways to the camera and you can see him from both sides. Just wanted to let you know, so you can maybe use it in your reviews, although you like your Oldschool :D

Everyone can wield that Pickaxe! Just use a one handed pickaxe and go to creative (or real game but that wayyyyyy too difficult) once you start, for a second your one handed pickaxe will show up as The Hammer then go back to hub and you should have it. I didn’t even play Chapter 2 Season 4! I don’t even have The Hammer!

Hey tabor, pickaxes with the mjolnir animation sometimes has a visual glitch and shows up as mjolnir. This happened to me once i was playing with my friend and on his screen it was the guitar that is for sunny.
The reason they saw the Thor’s hammer was because it is consider as the default pickaxe for the one handed pickaxes so they were probably using a different pickaxe

If u go in your own creative island and go in a changing both well holding a torch with a skin that can hold it change in to any skin and it will work

Probably that Moljnir was the first pickaxe of it's kind (one handed) due to certain render distance it loads in it's first asset and is presented as Moljnir, could be a possibility

The reason why you may see unworthy skins hold mjonir is because other items that come flying to the character when you pull it out have the original sort of base skin of mjonir and sometimes the game just doesn’t properly show the actual outfit or pickaxe which is why you may see someone who’s a default but then suddenly change
Also I think relaxed fit Kinsey should be able to wield mjonir since he’s basically fat Thor

Ya know, fish stick was able to wield stormbreaker in the trailer for the endgame event back when that LTM came out, I think it would be quite funny if they added him to the worthy skins at some point.
And yes I know that any skin could use stormbreaker in that LTM but Fishstick was the one in the trailer and was even able to channel lightning through it.

Only Two characters come to mind other than Thor and Captain America, in Fortnite, who could possibly wield Thor's Mjolnir. Groot, because he literally used his arm to help make the Stormbreaker. Fishstick, because he wielded the Stormbreaker in the Fortnite Endgame Event(Loading Screen).
The reason that is showed up on the Chapelino skin was because of a glitch. This happened to me too. The always base the First pickax with a certain animation and rescan it on top of another one so when the Coppolino skin had the Thor hammer it was just one of the Thor animations I know it sounds complicated but it happens
Another thing like that is the shape shifters glider from the season where crafting was introduced it says you can only use it with a matching outfit

The reason they went with captain america is due to Endgame where he is able to wield it if they really wanted to go in depth in the comics they could find a universe probably that would allow some more marvel characters to hold it personally i have no idea if T'Challa is able to wield it in any universe however i know there is a universe where someone got ahold of Mjolnir and threw it at him and the hammer missed due to a previous ancestor of his having the capabillity of wielding it

Not sure if it's still a thing, but if you go into a game with Thor and do his built in emote, then get in a changing booth, and switch to captain america, you can have the lightning hammer along with captain america

i'm in hate-love with those pickaxes that only one or two skins can have, i would do anything to be able to watch beef boss with carnage pickaxe, vemom, mjolnir etc.

In recent comics for Venom The king in black Eddie was able to wield Thor’s hammer while he’s possessed by the power cosmic and the silver surfers comic board. In doing so fused the board and hammer to make an axe to defeat Knull. So if tabor reads this that’s just abit more info.
So just to clarify, Thor’s hammer is the base weapon for single hand pickaxes, so he most likely saw this unworthy skin with the hammer because the skin had a one handed pickaxe it just hasn’t loaded yet, so no, only two skins can wield the hammer. :)

@Tabor Hill, I can answer the question as to why that user saw Thor's pick axe with El Chapilin and no it wasn't a bot. I've seen Thor's Hammer being used by a Spartan Assassin after I died and spectated them. But it wasn't Thor's Hammer when I went back in the replay. I'm on xbox so when rendering isn't at 100% items (like gliders) and skins go to the default for that item. Any pick axe that uses the Thor's Pick axe animation - when their is rending issues will "default" to Thor's Hammer.
Idk if you will see this but what i think is that any pickaxe that uses the same animation as thors hammer will default to mjolnir because it was the first, its kinda like how skins default to ramirez

It’s a glitch. If someone equip a pickaxe that has Mjolnir’s pull effect (for example Sunny’s guitar), sometimes it shows as Mjolnir when you spawn

Once there was a 1 second glitch i had when i was using the guitar pickaxe from last season, and i was using the axo skin but i spawned into a game FOR ONE SECOND i had thor's hammer (i dont even have that pickaxe)

Some people didn't know When Marvel and DC did a crossover back in the 90's and In one of those issues of the comic,Wonder Woman was the Only DC character to wield Thor's Hammer. I doubt Fortnite Secretly made her worthy to hold Mjolnir.
If you play on switch you will understand this, most skins dont render in, most people are defaults on switch, or even just low quality on other devices. this works the same with one handed pickaxes, as its defaulted to show Mjolnir. so anyone with low quality devices will likely see people with one handed axes, and they will appear as Mjolnir if the game doesnt want to render it.
Would have been cool to allow one skin in your locker to use one built in like
