I don't know if my humor is just identical to Craig's or if watching 900 or so episodes of his show has rubbed off on me, but I find myself very often, at least once per show saying the next line of his joke before he has said it, and not just with repetitive jokes
When Jean Michel chooses a dolphin as his "favorite whale", I have to assume it's not because he doesn't know that the "killer whale" isn't actually a whale (it's a _whale killer_) but because he's French.

I respectfully disagree. Being French has nothing to do with it. Cousteau is a marine biologist. He definitely knows that orcas (which are sometimes called killer whales - as Craigy mentioned) are in fact whales. He also said that they were his “favorite creature”, not “favorite whale.” And yes, orcas do sometimes kill other whales. 🐋🐳 Party on.😎 Great show isn't it! ❤️
