It all starts right from the school. Only good looking fair girls are selected for cultural programs . Only pretty faces are selected for lead roles in Dramas etc. If you are a dark skin girl its impossible to grab a chance of performing in school programs.. After school when you enter in college there also people will prefer good looking people for making friends. Looks definitely matters but only to a small extent. You are beyond your looks . Just judging someone only on the basis of their looks is really very sad !!

Looks are important and are a part of nature.
Just see whom you are attracted to.
Unwillingly your human nature will make you attract to hot girls if you are a male

@@adityanayak872 I agree. The reason for this lies in the human ancestry. Light coloured, glowing skin was considered better resulting in better offsprings which made the mind adapt to the idea that fair skin = better.
But we no longer live in jungles now and are 1000x more knowledge than our ancestors so we should use brain and focus what someone is like from inside. 🙂

@@worldrecord7344 looks do not mean white skin.
      It means
Toned body, pimple free face, proper body balance, biceps( just little), v shaped core(for male).
Or better waist hip ratio in female
It is applicable whether you are black or white.
And it is important even in modern civilization as it is nearly impossible to turn back the long evolution of humans attracted to stauch persons( majorly for mating in ancient times.)
Just take example of meat. Can you stop eating meat? No.. maybe never as some meat proteins are now essential for body.
Similarly your mind can never overlook a person with above characteristics

Speaking as a victim of bullying in the workplace, I can categorically state that karma just doesn't come into it. The perpetrator who cost me my job, financial security and mental health, is still enjoying his life to the full. Those of us without the power and money are completely expendable. We mean nothing and are treated as such.

Looks dressing sense and a lot of smooth talk matters a lot in this society. No matter where you are. I was that girl a long time ago. Despite being good at my work with the right attitude I was called into the GM's cabin and lectured about how I dressed up and how bad I looked to people around me. My Boss gad to defend me every time and it wasn't the men but the women especially in the management who treated me badly. I was going through a bad marriage abuse at that time and that was another reason I had no time or energy to think about how I looked. This repeated in every company I went to. But I made sure my work spoke for me. It is true that looks plays an extremely important role in this world. Don't believe people who deny it. In one of the company I worked in the CEO asked for fair and slim good looking girls because that apparently motivated the guyz for coming to work. That's how this society is. It's not easy!

I have faced a similar situation. I say don't judge someone by their looks. Because there are those who have good talents but do not look good. Appearance is not important. We can look beautiful in our 20s and 30s. But if we think about a person in their 60s, they may not look good. Everything changes one day. We must be content with what we already have and what we already gained. This applies to our life journey. People need to remember that we are on a journey. It is called the journey of life. We can save more money and we can have more friends and we can have a husband or wife. But the main thing is that we can't take them away when we die. All we have is karma ... I want to say again, do not judge a book by its cover.

Considering all suit wearing Indians as 'looking like waiters' is a bias in itself and honestly simply not true. We actually look amazing in suits too. Just look at Sundar Pichai, Indira Nooyi, Satya Nadela, & all suit wearing Indians rocking the world.

Then what's the problem dressing up and we'll groomed for work. One's attitude and personality shows in dressing up, the lousy way one dress up themselves they will behave the same. No marks or positive attitude towards life will help then.

It is sad but we should look at the positive point also. If we are working somewhere we should have some dressing sense. I have experienced it. When I used to work my all the coleuges used to pay attention on their dressing sense. And I used to not. The result was I used to look really wierd among my staff member. I know people will take me wrong but it's true. I'm not saying that we should apply lots of makeup and wear expensive dresses but at least we can wear some good cloths if we are working somewhere. It will boost our confidence.☺️☺️

I heard a lady saying that turban is the part of Sikhism so we can allow that but hijab is a part of culture but sir actually its not.
It is the part of our religion as already mentioned in our holy book.

This is true face of corporate world. Not only this, Group politics is the root cause. Sometimes biased based on culture, language and regional politics.
There is no respect for talented people.
U r treated badly even if u are good looking. If u have model like looks, style or dresses, they will definitely put u down if you don’t fit into their group.
Yes consulting with psychiatrist is essential but honestly, this will not help.
We need courts, laws , lawsuits where employment related issues, cheating in salary packages, cheating in promotions, most importantly, MANAGERS BEHAVIOR AND PERSONAL POLITICS. All these things should be reported and those managers needs to be taken strict action by the law.
Once u get caught in wrong side of your managers, his/her opinion is what HR will be considering. If u leave the company, then they mark ur profile and make sure u don’t get hired by other companies. They will make u report to people who are less qualified/experienced and give u low level job. If questioned, they threaten n say, u r getting salary do u want to be jobless forever??? They will cancel onsite job offers and play with us badly.
For these kinds of people, we need strict rules and regulations and laws so that we can take them to court.
Our society needs employment court like the way they have family court, civil court etc…

Looking low of anybody is wrong but dressing good is not wrong .
@5:09 sometimes basic self care is twisted like this . Nothing wrong to make oneself look good . If you have talent added to it is looking good and presentable . Even when you pick vegetables, fruits , jewels , clothes or anything that you come across you will not buy spoiled or not looking good products . Even if you buy a broken vessel , you try to mend it to look good and useful. We as humans who keep in touch and interact constantly with world, should look good and expecting that is not bad . Whatever you have, you can use it to look presentable. In this case of this girl how hard can this be for her to do the following
    - taking care of her hair properly and styling with whatever she has. Just a hair pin and scrunchies is enough
    - style glass frames
    - wash the face and put powder and beautiful stone studded bindhi
    - even the dress she wears can be washed , ironed and worn in such a way that is bit more fashionable .
    - few minor jewels- need not be gold
    - a purse (optional)
    - and above all face held high with the most dazzling jewel - smile in the face .
All are available resources within ourselves.
In tamil we say “aal paathi aadai paathi”
Literally it means “half man half cloth". But the intention in this saying is that people's behavior to a person is dependent upon the type of clothes he wears.
Actually ancient Tamils were aware of the psychological fact that the first seven seconds of meeting person influences the impression about a person. Hence they advised to dress accordingly so as to get a good first impression.

    • @kinara5086
      @kinara5086 2 года назад

Its sad that you didnt get the gist of the video and the intention behind it. Its not about upping yourself with whatever one has, but about being real authentic true self even if others dislike it. For some people its "ugly" or shes not putting any effort but for her its her true self and real her. And if shes happy with expressing herself that way then others should definitely keep their opinions to themselves and treat her equally as they would a person they find attractive. Just because shes not attractive to you does not mean shes ugly, shes grace and beauty in someone else's eyes. And that is beautiful and what equality is all about.

    • @papayafruit5703
      @papayafruit5703 2 года назад

      @@kinara5086 feeling is mutual ….
What is being authentic? What is true self?
Sometimes one doesn’t like to take bath - his or her true self . If you happen to be in your own house , no problem but once you go out problem arises - stinks .
Same with any “true self” that one has .
Opinion - my first sentence expresses it all. Nobody has any right to demean others / anybody including self . But absenteeing oneself of doing or following basic daily cleanliness is where one draws a line . If one is at home feel tired that day and absentees from any one or two of basic cleanliness is ok. Once in public or living in society one has certain norms to follow . In this case I didn’t expect this girl to be a model but gave suggestions with whatever minimal things she has, she can improvise herself.
One is allowed to be as they want in private , but once in public of course there are etiquettes to follow. When you are at home you can wear a night dress but once you go out you wear a different dress and go out . Well would you wear a night dress or a swim dress saying I’m being “authentic “, showing my “true self”. You do follow certain etiquettes when you go out . That’s what I said . With whatever she has she can improvise added to it a big smile is a priceless beauty.
I did condemn that man (or persons /people equivalent to that man) who demeans others.
So please try to understand what I REALLY AM TRYING TO SAY..

Organization must have the positive approach towards their employees and talks must be in positive way though the situation is difficult.

Never misunderstanding to others, whose staff are working with u sincerely with five years. No staff head can tell this thing. One month notice shd be given by manager or one month salary with others benefits like gratituty, PF, and others facilities and if staff wants to leave if he gets new job, then staff shd be given advance one month notice or one month salary to be paid his earlier office manager. Our manger always told that " Office is our first home, wherein we live, talk, work in one office in 8 to 10 hrs. Therefore, office atmosphere shd be like our family members.
