If you want a fun ice sheet challenge, Rich explorer start, on an ice sheet, but set a triple cold snap on the tile. No cannibalism, no organ harvesting, no mechanoids, no getting things from other map tiles. Obviously LiF 500. I really enjoyed this challenge and it is much more fun than sea ice, which is just dull. With triple cold snap, you need to sort warmth and shelter in under 2 minutes or manipulation is too low to save yourself. Oh, and you most certainly grow crops on ice sheet.
