    I get the same breathing problems. Thyme, stinging nettles, mullein leaves, dehydrated orange peel, local honey. 1 part each ingredient. Ceramic pot. Boiling water. Steep 10-15 minutes. Strain as pouring into cup.

    Try adding fresh ginger. It opens everything up in the lungs.

    In Montana we call that second plant MUL - IN ( like you're thinking and saying Uhhhh ) 😂 It grows crazy wild here. I want to harvest some soon and use it for this tea and other things. Thank you for this great video !

      I pronounce it just like Jenny 😂 It's an on going thing between my mother in law and myself. She pronounces it like you 😂 I got a good chuckle from your comment because of it 😂

    Thank you for your recipe, Jinne! We have tons of stinging nettle in the woods, and I have a bunch dehydrated. Plus, I always grow thyme, and I planted mullein starts this spring--out of 11, 2 are established. I'd like to have them growing in various places on our property. I bought a bunch of organic oranges this spring and dehydrated the peels, so I have that, too!

    Loving this tea recipe with mullein! ☕ Mullein has been a game-changer for my respiratory health. Got mullein drops from nutraharmony, and they've truly made a difference in my breathing and overall wellness.

    Thank you so much for sharing this! I have been working on building our natural medicine stock for a couple years now to include the dried herbs for teas, infused oils, tinctures and salves. I much prefer them to going to a doctor! God Bless!

    When I’m only making a cup at a time, I brew my herbs right in a Pyrex measuring cup with a silicone lid to keep it hot. It’s easy to pour through the tea strainer into my mug.

    I started smoking Mullen 4 days ago, 2 or 3 little pigs in the morning and the same at night . I have asthma , I can’t believe the difference it makes . The first time I did I coughed up a whole lot of phlegm. Maybe I should start drinking the tea instead .

    Thanks for the tea recipe, will need to give it a try. I also like drinking elderberry tea (I buy it and the syrup from a local woman) for allergies and asthma. She also makes syrup with hemp in it which helps with arthritis. I've dehydrated orange slices and vacuum sealed them in mason jars but they got moldy. Not sure what I did wrong?

    • @HomesteadCorner
      @HomesteadCorner  3 месяца назад +4

      Oh I love Elderberry too! 😋 If your orange slices molded, they were not dry enough, I dry until crispy and then let them stay over night in the dehydrator and double check them the next day, if they get soft, I turn the dehydrator back on.

      @@HomesteadCorner absolutely agree with you! I gave up on Drs when the last one prescribed me two medications...that are specifically not to be taken together..very dangerous...thank God I looked them up before taking them.
      Steeping some "tea": as I write this ..thank you again.

    Do you dehydrate your spices in your oven?

    • @HomesteadCorner
      @HomesteadCorner  3 месяца назад +3

      Herbs can be dried in the oven on the lowest setting, but they can burn really easy, so I just air dry, usually only takes a few days.
